Continue ReadingThe Stanford-commit dumped in 18.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.2 blocks per game coming off a broken leg. Ogden’s ability to use her strength to bump off defenders while getting to her spots and shooting overtop of them make her extremely difficult to guard. Ogden doesn’t just settle for jumpers either, she will attack the rim and can score through contact with either hand.
Princeton is getting a hard worker inside. Hutcherson can play either forward position but she’s most effective using her strength and leaping ability to clean up misses inside. Olivia has a quick first step when attacking from 15-feet and in and will absorb contact inside. Hutcherson can help push the ball in transition and go coast-to-coast. Olivia has expanding range on her outside shot as well.
Named Class 3A Most Improved Player, Hiddema averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds while hitting 75 threes at a 38% rate. The West Georgia-commit is a powerful player that can be a wrecking ball when driving to the hoop.
The Mercer-commit is a rugged post with a high skill level. She has great post moves, flaring her elbows wide when working the pivot. She powers into the chest of defenders but also can provide a finesse touch when shooting from the mid-range. Ari is capable of handling the ball in spurts and will push in transition. Dyson is an emotionally charged player that averaged 13.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.4 blocks as a junior.
Heading to Syracuse on a volleyball scholarship, Sierzant could have been on a D-I trajectory in basketball as well if she so chose. The three-sport star averaged 21.6 points, 17.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks per game last year.
