[player_tooltip player_id='331745' first='Eris' last='Lester'] / 2024 / 5'11 G / Orange Park.

Lester (cover) gets the top performer of the week award. The Junior had a career high 44 point effort and a 29 point effort in week three of the season. Lester's athleticism is off the charts. She can jump out the gym, run pass everyone on the court, and get to the rim in a multiple of ways. Her jump shot is very good from behind the arc and she can deflate an opponent with her jump stop- midrange game. Lester's game gets better and better and she has solidified her self as one of the best players in the State in any class.

Kourtney Johnson / 2024 /5'5 PG / San Jose Prep

Johnson was huge last week, especially against Mandarin. Everytime her team needed a three point shot or a big play the young guard produced. She knocked down 5 threes at least including one in the final minutes to secure the win. Johnson did a good job of handling the ball and running the offense. Defensively, she played very good on ball defense and she was disruptive in the press. Her pressure led to numerous turnovers by the opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id='352569' first='Ameera' last='Nayani'] / 2023 / 5'8 SG / San Jose Prep

Nayani shot the ball well last week and was a standout upperclassman for the week. She was also instrumental in the defeat over neighbor Mandarin. Nayani also played well on the defensive end, but it was her shooting that ignited her team. The Senior knocked down three first half three pointers and shot her way from bunder the radar. We will keep an eye on this sharp shooter at San jose Prep.

[player_tooltip player_id='247187' first='Adashia' last='Keel'] / 2023 / 5'7 G, F / Nova

Keel had a very nice week posting a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebound and flirting with another double double on a 16 point- 7 rebound performance. Listed as a guard, Keel shows a lot of strength down in the paint and has power forward attributes to her game. She has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass and knows how to put the ball in the basket, draw fouls, and get to the freethrow line. She plays through contact and has a solid body frame to do so. She is a very selfless player and has good awareness of teammates on the floor and she utilizes them when making hustle plays over the court. She finishes well on both sides of the goal, especially from the left side. Defensively, she utilizes her strength and is versatile enough to defend on the wing and in the painted area. Keep an eye on Keel throughout the season. Looks like there are more double - doubles on the horizon.

[player_tooltip player_id='349278' first='Aniyah' last='Fisher'] / 2024 / 5'8 SG, SF / St Augustine

Fisher had a nice outing against Nease and continues to show why she is one of the most versatile guards in the 2024 class. She has good size and is able to score from all over the court. Fisher knocked down 4 threes in the contest and had some nice finishes in the paint. She can handle the ball as well and very good in the press break. Defensively, she is one of the best at anticipated the next pass and intercepting it. She is ideal in the press where she utilizes her height and quickness to deflect and steal passes in the passing lanes

[player_tooltip player_id='400790' first='Camryn' last='Robinson'] / 2023 / 5'4 PG / Nease

Robinson had a good showing and showed why she is one of the top 2023 guards on the First Coast and in St Johns county. Robinson is the floor general and has the ball in her hands throughout the game. She did a great job of handling the ball and getting the team in the right sets and running the offense. She plays like a coach on the floor with a very high basketball IQ. Robinson shot the ball well from the outside, knocking down several threes and a few midrange shots. She was also impressive at getting to the rim when the defense closed out too aggressively.
