Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have played point guard most of my basketball career. A late growth spurt during high school has allowed me to become a combo guard with point guard vision and passing skills. During my first two years at WCA I have become a lock down defender who has makes scoring very difficult for the opposing teams best guard. I have also worked very hard on rebounding on both sides of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have an outgoing personality and I like to make people happy. On the basketball floor that shows itself when I make an unselfish pass that results in a team mate scoring. In the classroom I show it by being engaged with my teachers and giving them my undivided attention and respect. WCA has taught me to serve others and place the needs of the team/family first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I help coach my former AAU Team the South Jersey Tarheels as well work with kids at my local rec center. I have helped coach both basketball, soccer and help yearly with the Easter egg hunt among other seasonal rec activities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball and Soccer have taught me the benefits of teamwork. Each sport has also allowed me to grow into a leadership role. This coming year I am 1 of 2 returning varsity players and throughout the summer I have helped organize practices and have also worked hard to create and maintain strong culture of team work and hard work.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been blessed to grow up in a great family and have attended wonderful schools. My challenges are what every kid has to go through. Leaving my friends and going to a new school. Trying to figure out how to navigate the hallways and social nuances of high school.
