There have been some players who've helped themselves the most this season and improved a great deal. I want to highlight those kids and talk about what they do well and how they help their teams excel.

[player_tooltip player_id='448322' first='Torie' last='Neubauer']

In the FVA, there are always players who'll surprise you because to survive and compete in that conference; you have to be one of the better players in the state. With the new roster, the Patriots have Neubauer, and others have taken their chance and run with it. The 6-footer can run, defend, finish through contact and make plays most kids with her size can't. [player_tooltip player_id='156073' first='Sammi' last='Beyer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='338969' first='Lilly' last='Meulemans'] are sneakily one of the better backcourts in the state and can go toe-to-toe with most backcourts. However, Neubauer's a kid that can make the Patriots sneaky contenders for a regional title.

[player_tooltip player_id='338966' first='Bentley' last='Drout']

Kids with Drout's size will get overlooked because she doesn't fit into what coaches traditionally look for in guards, but that kid is a warrior and more crucial to Kimberly than you'd think. She's a responsible lead guard that makes good decisions with the ball. As she ages and needs to do more with the ball, don't be surprised if Kimberly becomes a team that nobody in the FVA wants to play.

[player_tooltip player_id='329599' first='Ceanna' last='Froh']

In a new school with many of the same kids from last season, Froh has done well in her situation at Sun Prairie West. She doesn't have to do a ton with the ball right now because the Wolves have seniors who need the ball to succeed, but she excels as a secondary playmaker on the weak side. Froh's ability to make jumpers and attack recovering defenses is a source of easy offense.

Reese Rogowski

Rogowski's athleticism has made her a candidate for a scholarship for a while. However, this season she's put it all together. She's one of the best players in the state nobody's talking about her because she's not from a traditional power or population center. Rogowski would start anywhere in the state because she can defend, score, rebound, and run with anyone in the state. Her explosion is different, and she uses it well. There aren't many kids who can handle her one-on-one, and you can watch her on the track this spring if you want to see what I mean. If she wants to play basketball, she's a scholarship-level talent.

There have been some players who've helped themselves the most this season and improved a great deal. I want to highlight those kids and talk about what they do well and how they help their teams excel.
