New England 2024 Rankings Combo Guards

Here we continue to look at the New England 2024 rankings, and look at 5 Combo Guards. Note this is not in any order. [player_tooltip player_id='282806' first='Avery' last='Romps'], HT 6'0, High School Portsmouth Avery is a 6'0 Combo Guard, who is a strong player on both ends of the floor. She is a hustler, and moves very well for her size. She can defend at a high level, and also shoot at a high level. Offensively she has a good inside out game, and runs the floor well. I really like Avery's game because she impacts the game in many ways, and loves to play defense. [player_tooltip player_id='296790' first='Maddie' last='Fitzpatrick'], High School Cheverus HT 5'10, Maddie is a strong shooter from the outside. She also has the ability to rip and attack the rim. She is a guard with good size for the positions. Her size helps her shoot over the top of defenders. She is also a good passer, and uses her high IQ, to set her teammates up to score. A strong player on defensive as well, and has good defensive instincts. [player_tooltip player_id='281183' first='Amany' last='Lopez'], High School Putnam Science, HT 5'9 Last season Lopez help lead Putnam to the MIAA division state championship title. She can impact the game in many ways. She can lead her team in scoring, make big defensive stops down the stretch, and brings high energy every time she is on the floor. She has improved her outside shooting, and become a three level scorer. She is athletic, and has a quick first step. [player_tooltip player_id='299221' first='Nia' last='Edens'], High School East Hartford, HT 5'10 Nia is a tough guard to stop. She is an attack first guard, who looks to get to the rim. She is very strong with ball, and finishes well through contact. She has a good jump stop in the paint, and can finish off one or two feet. She can also use her off hand effectively and finish on both sides. She is really good taking her defender 1 on 1 off the dribble. She is a player who gets the job done. [player_tooltip player_id='283111' first='Maddie' last='Gill'], Barrington, HT 5'8, Maddie is a strong guard on both sides of the floor. She plays good defense staying between her player and the basket. She defends cuts well, and not a player you will she get beat back door. Offensively she is pass first, but can really shoot it as well. She reads the defense well, and makes good on point passes.
