has developed into her own mold as a pace setter who can also push the point and find others in scoring position. Mountainside’s Polly Raugust is an intriguing guard who leads by example, through her shooting and ability to lead and structure a team.
Zoe Borter Zoe Borter 6'0" | SG Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 6’0″ SF Beaverton HS – Borter again showed her utility skills as a scorer, as she embodies her length immensely well as a multi-threat offensively. She shoots it with good accuracy and is a piercing player who gets to the cup well and finishes exceptionally around 10-15 feet. Polished offensive player who also utilizes the same mentality defensively. Ha da game high 19 versus Mountainside.
Lainey Spear Lainey Spear 6'2" | PF Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 6’2″ PF Beaverton HS – Not much else or needs to be said about Spear, like her namesake suggests she is an aggressive two-way player who causes a lot of mayhem in the half-court trap as she is long enough to disturb and quick enough to execute. Offensively, she shoots it well, has a quick instinctual step to the basket and has very creative finishes. 18 points versus the Mavs.
Madison Naro Madison Naro 5'7" | PG Beaverton | 2023 State OR 2023 5’8″ PG Beaverton HS – Oftentimes, Naro isn’t amongst leaders in points, but that is because she doesn’t need to in order to totally impact or control the game. She is the type of player to score 6 points and absolutely dominate and control the pace on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she is a ball hawk and offensively, she controls the tempo with her ball handling and immense IQ.
Indie Browning Indie Browning 5'8" | CG Beaverton | 2024 State OR 2024 5’7″ PG Beaverton HS – Browning has stepped up immensely in the last few months for Beaverton, as she has proven her starring role for the defending 6A champs Beaverton. She has a unique combination in pushing the tempo but also reserving it, something that is needed in the game today – particularly for Beaverton. Very structured point guard, scored 6 points versus Mountainside.
Polly Raugust 2023 5’7″ PG Mountainside HS – senior leader for the Mavericks, despite playing a tough match-up against the defending 6A State Champions, Raugist didn’t back up and contributed 11 points including since three from three-point land. Plays with poise and intention, leader offensively with a calm but aggressive demeanor.
