Adaisha Proctor 2024 - Kansas: Proctor is the heart of the Comet's basketball squad. She runs the offense well, sets the tone and pace in which the team plays and does the "dirty work" on both ends of the floor. Adaisha is fast but never rushed when she is handling the ball - she sees the floor well which allows her to see her open teammates and the cutters. Proctor is a great shooter but she isn't afraid to go in strong and finish through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='422372' first='Anna' last='Imbo'] 2024 - Providence Academy: Anna is a well rounded guard that does a good job of handling the ball, finding her open teammates and getting the right shot off at the right time. She did a great job of finding the holes in the defense but never forced anything that wasn't there; she is willing to make the extra pass and does a good job of keeping her teammates involved. Imbo plays a pivitol role in the Patriots success.

[player_tooltip player_id='453164' first='Ava' last='Maner'] 2024 - Providence Academy: Ava had a solid game on day one of the Jay tournament. She handled the ball confidently while there was constant pressure on her and wasn't deterred from her path regardless of what the defense was doing. Maner is a solid shooter but her defense is what truly sets her apart. She keeps her opponent in front of her, plays good help side defense and turns the ball handler numerous times every possession.

[player_tooltip player_id='1049413' first='Karolina' last='Kiraga'] 2025 - Providence Academy: Karolina was the best player on day one of the Jay tournament. She is versatile, polished and plays the game with a very high IQ. Kiraga can shoot from anywhere but the most impressive aspect of her game is when she is inside the paint; she has elite foot work and can get her defender in the air, at will. Karolina stays active without the ball which makes her hard to defend and when she gets the ball on the cut, it's a guaranteed bucket. She is a high motor player who plays at 100 every minute she is on the court. Defensively, she uses her length to her advantage - covering alot of ground, forcing numerous turnover, collecting a handful of deflections and making some statement blocks at the rim & perimeter. Karolina is definitely a player to keep an eye on.

Brynlea Collins 2024 - Grove: Brynlea is a quick, high motor guard that plays the game at a fast but controlled pace. Offensively, she is aggressive when attacking the rim but has nice range and is able to knock down three's, as well. Collins is a hustle player - intense and scrappy but does a good job of not fouling. Defensively, she is a force - her movements are quick and she moves extremely well laterally. Brynlea got a hand on the ball multiple times when guarding her opponents and had a few steals due to her being able to read the pass. Collins has a nice style of play and contributes to Grove's overall success.
