Clackamas/Barlow Top Performers Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Clackamas Cavaliers/Barlow Bruins Mt. Hood Conference match-up was a game that represented more than a basketball game last night. It was an ode to seniors - on both teams - that have battled against one another for the last few year. It was a head nod to the incredible talent displayed on both teams out on the floor. In a captivating battle, we take a look at the players that graced the floor last night from both clubs. [player_tooltip player_id='158542' first='Kennedie' last='Shuler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='158551' first='Annie' last='Koenig'] are two yin-yang guards who complete one another for the Bruins. [player_tooltip player_id='251705' first='Haidyn' last='Sobella'] is a guard who has come to form for Barlow. [player_tooltip player_id='158545' first='Rhyan' last='Mogel'] is the head honcho and leader for the Cavs whereas [player_tooltip player_id='833579' first='Avery' last='Peterson'] is the energizer and igniter for Clackamas. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158542' first='Kennedie' last='Shuler'] 2023 5'9" PG Barlow HS - despite being guarded by the lengthy and athletic Davidson, Shuler found ways to contribute as a scorer as she sank two from deep and got to the free throw line with good consistency.  Superb athlete with wiggle who finds ways to get past the seams of the defense.  Contributed 12 points in a solid effort versus the Cavs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158551' first='Annie' last='Koenig'] 2023 5'11" SG Barlow HS - a fearless scorer who is highly composed despite the game circumstances, Koenig turned in a 12 point effort.  Not only is she a catch and shoot and lights out at this maneuver, she doesn't force nor press the issue and lets the game come to her.  Also a talented defender who plays with great effort.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='251705' first='Haidyn' last='Sobella'] 2023 5'9" SG Barlow HS - Sobella's confidence is peaking at right at the opportune time, as she is a determined shooter who is accurate from all around the perimeter.  Turned in a 9 point effort versus the Cavs where she was diligent in her efforts around the arc.  Also a solid systems player who is a competitor and can do the small things as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158545' first='Rhyan' last='Mogel'] 2023 5'11" PG Clackamas HS - it was truly the perfect way to wrap up an amazing three years with the Cavs on a star studded senior night, as she punched in 15 points over a league rival.  Supremely smooth with the rock, has the controls of a Cadillac and the steering options as well.  Can stop on a dime, whistles out the ball to others, and just plays rugged in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='833579' first='Avery' last='Peterson'] 2025 5'6" PG Clackamas HS - the speedster is the point guard on wheels for the Cavs as she contributed 8 points but it was her seamless transition game that captivated the audience.  Blistering quick, has a tricky shuffle to get her opponents caught off guard.  Also an exuberant defender who gets the job done plenty.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
