Jones is a 2026 name that is contributing to a Rocky Mount team with potential to win it all. Against East Wake, she put in a hyper efficient effort scoring 16 points on 7 of 9 shooting. Outside of her contributions scoring, she also dished out 6 assist and had 3 rebounds. Defensively, she collected 2 steals. She is a name to watch in the class of 2026 and deserves more attention.
Roanoke College Signee Kaitlyn Littlejohn exploded for 36 points shooting 13 for 20. Known as a sharpshooter, in the 1st Round game against Corinth Holders, she made an incredible 10 3 point shots while shooting 63%. She also chipped in 7 rebounds and 2 steals to help seal the victory for her Apex Friendship squad.
Highlights
Smalls, the Panther Creek High School senior, put on a dominant display on Tuesday. She scored 14 points while shooting 50% from the floor. If her scoring was not enough, she absolutely dominated the opposition grabbing 15 rebounds and also blocking 3 shots. If her strong play can continue, her team will continue to be a serious threat on their playoff run.
Laynie, an Illinois Volleyball Commit, showed her basketball prowess for Chapel Hill on Tuesday scoring 30 points while shooting 63% from the floor. Her dominance on the court extended beyond the offensive side of the ball, she also collected 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 steals, and 8 blocks. She will continue to be a player to watch as the playoffs march on.
