I was lucky enough to see Deboer play in her first varsity scrimmage a couple years back. She can flat out shoot the rock and that was obvious from day 1. Deboer isn’t just a shooter, she’s a big shot taker and big shot maker. She’s done a terrific job developing as an all around athlete and that has served her greatly as a basketball player.

Dalton Deboer Dalton Deboer 5'5" | SG Midland Dow | 2025 State MI was an assassin from 3 on Sunday, she made 3 pointers look easier than layups, hitting at least 4. To start the game, Dalton came off a down screen caught the pass then got downhill and scored a left handed layup and one. She sees the court well and if you let her shoot from her spots it will be a long day.

Deboer is a player that scouts and coaches will highlight on their list at the Top 250. Coaches love shooters and Deboer can do just that. Best part is, she’s still getting better.

Deboer really turned some heads in her freshman season and put the state on notice. She could send a very similar type of message at the City Slam. Deboer is a top notch shooter that must always be accounted for by the defense. Her basketball IQ is very strong as well and probably should be talked about more as a strength of her game.

Deboer had an outstanding high school season and without a doubt played her way into the rankings. Deboer is a shooter through and through that can bury a long range jumper from the corners and the wings in game changing fashion. She’s a confident shooter that doesn’t need much space to get it off.
