Continue ReadingGenetics matter and lets just say Miss McDonald has some good one’s! The 5’6 multitalented scorer did just as she’s done all year and that’s score the ball. In the Semi-Final match up she ran off 22 points going 12-12 from the charity stripe while collecting 5 rebounds against a loaded John Curtis team.
A monster that collected a double-double in the State Championship game with 21 points and 10 boards and also adding 7 steals in the game. Imani showed her versatility during the contest by scoring in a variety of ways offensive put backs, taking big’s out on the perimeter and beating them off the bounce she did it all and it was more so impressive being done against two six footers as she stands 5’8!
Sometimes you can just be happy for a kid, and that’s the case here! Chrysta for a long time has been one of the states best and I feel as though she hasn’t gotten the respect that she deserves amongst her peers and also media outlets across the state. Well put some respect on her name as the kids say she’s a State Champion! Leading her Lady Lions to a 52-46 victory over perineal power John Curtis, in the tittle game she was clearly the best player on the floor and it showed. Getting to the rim finishing through contact knocking down pull up jumpers the full arsenal was on display. Finishing the game with a team high 26 points while shooting 9-16 from the field and 8-11 from the free throw line and also collecting 15 rebounds. Going out with a bang for her last time being seen on the high school stage I’m sure she’ll have a even better career at the next level!

The Super Soph, the missing piece to Lafayette’s championship puzzle showed up in a big way for the Lady Lions, well she’s done it all year! Kira also finished with a double-double in the Championship game finishing with 11 points and 13 boards. A kid with a great handle and feel for the game Kira lived in the lane and dictated the pace pf the game for the Lady Lions. Look for a big jump in the future rankings for this 2025 lead guard.

The LSU volleyball signee did not disappoint in her team semi-final loss to eventual State Champ Lafayette high. Putting up a monster double-double 11 points and 19 boards and 2 blocks. AC finished well around the rim as she showcased her volleyball skills by high pointing rebound after rebound while also altering a bunch of shots, yes she played at the net in a basketball game. It will be bunch watching her lay down spikes at the next level!
