Let’s look at some of the best in NH now that playoffs have ended.
Guards
– Brook Paquette a leader on the floor and a true scoring threat. She helped lead her BG Cardinals to a back-to-back state title this season in D1.
– Brynn Rautiola Brynn Rautiola 5'5" | CG Conant | 2023 State New E is one of the most athletic players in the state. A pure scorer with an impressive first step and great hands on the defensive end, she helped lead her team to a Runner Up finish this season in D3.
– Macy Swormstedt Macy Swormstedt 5'8" | CG Laconia | 2025 State New E is a rising star in NH high school basketball whose stock is on the rise. An athletic and crafty guard, she can score all over the floor especially in transition and off the run.
– Elizabeth Lavoie Elizabeth Lavoie 5'11" | SG Pinkerton Academy | 2024 State New E is one of the most combo-oriented guards in the state, with the ability to score all around the 3-point line to rim alike. Off the dribble, she has a special skill set.
Combos
– Ava Winterburn Ava Winterburn 6'2" | PF Goffstown | 2023 State New E was a scoring machine this year and exploded this season in NH, leading her Goffstown club to a Final Four finish. Only touching her potential, she has a lot of athleticism which allows her to score and defend the 1-5 position.
– Kate Allard Kate Allard 6'2" | PF Bedford | 2025 State New E is one of the hottest prospects in the sophomore class. With the length and athleticism to be a dynamic wing, she can score from the 1-5 spot and defend just alike. She helped her team to a back to back Runner Up state finish.
– Emma Smith Emma Smith 5'9" | SG Cca | 2026 State New E as a freshman is one of the most intriguing and exciting prospects in the state in the class of 2026. She has helped spark her team to back to back State Championships the past two years using her length for scoring in the paint and from the 3, and with her focus on rebounding and high IQ in decision making.
– Avery Romps Avery Romps 6'0" | CG Portsmouth | 2024 State New E is a very intriguing wing with the skillset to now play inside and out. She has a nice smooth stroke and can rebound, but even more importantly defend a range of positions. A player with a high IQ, keep an eye on this player and Portsmouth next season.
Forwards
– Lana McCarthy Lana McCarthy 6'4" | PF Bedford | 2024 State New E is the best big in the state and has given fans and basketball enthusiasts all the reasoning as to why this is true. She is versatile, strong, and has some smooth footwork. She works hard in every possession and wants to score.
– Annelise Dexter Annelise Dexter 5'11" | PF Pembroke Academy | 2024 State New E is like a secret gem in the D2 world. She took a huge leap this year in both scoring and rebounding, including challenging opponents on the defensive side with her increased strength. Her length and growth makes her one to watch!
– Jasmine Becotte Jasmine Becotte 5'10" | CG Pelham | 2024 State New E helped lead her Pelham program to a strong showing this regular season, helping them finish third in the regular season. She was selected POY in the division and with good reason, she can score!
– Emma Tenters Emma Tenters 5'11" | SF Conant | 2023 State New E was one of the most agile and fundamental bigs in the state this season. She had a tremendous year both scoring and rebounding. She can be dynamic at the next level!
