Fairfield and New Jersey seem to have quite the connection as a number of players have either been offered or committed to the Stags. St. John Vianney guard [player_tooltip player_id='325217' first='Julia' last='Karpell'] joined that group on the 18th.

Karpell has stepped up her game in a big way with SJV this season, building off the success she had shooting from beyond the arc as she hit 56 three-pointers in 32 games, averaging a career-high 7.5 PPG as a junior.

March 13: [player_tooltip player_id='155445' first='Rylee' last='Drahos'] - Shore Regional (2023) commits to the University of Rochester

We were bound to hear some sort of news come out about Drahos, where she would be continuing her basketball career at, and on the 13th, she announced her commitment to the University of Rochester.

A monster on the floor the past two seasons for Shore, Drahos averaged 18.5 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 4.6 APG, 4.3 SPG and more than a made three-pointer a game this season. The last two years alone have seen her score over 1,150 points for the Blue Devils as they reached the NJSIAA Group I state title game.

March 13: Giana Lobozzo - Watchung Hills (2023) commits to Hobart & William Smith

The 13th saw multiple players announce their college commitments, with Lobozzo being part of it, announcing her commitment to play at Hobart & William Smith.

Lobozzo has shined on the AAU circuit for United NJ AAU, but her senior season is where she had the biggest boom at Watchung Hills, scoring nearly 10.0 PPG with 1.1 made three-pointers a game, 4.2 RPG, 2.1 APG and 2.9 SPG. Really impressive stuff from the senior and a well-deserved accomplishment to play at the next level.
