With the move to Example, Hoover is aligning herself with a top tier program full of talented players.. like herself. She has the skillset to be effective at all levels on the court. She is money from the arc, crafty on the attack, and has the frame and athleticism to defend multiple positions. Her patience and tempo are noticed immediately.. she doesn’t rush anything or play out of style. She will definitely be moving up the ranks.
A classic post with a ton of strength and size. Norman has all the right intangibles to develop at a high rate and be a serious game changer in this class. She has solid hands, and the intensity to battle in the post on every possession. Coming off a strong HS season in which her Alton team went undefeated in the regular season, Talia played a pivotal role. I’m looking forward to seeing her carry that success into circuit play.
Highlights
Samantha’s talent level is high… she’s crafty, risky, and can score in a multitude of ways. The ball handling is strong, the vision is clear and her energy on the defensive end is just as impactful as it is on the offensive side. Schmuke has some length to her as well, that allows her to adjust and deal with different play styles. When you have a skillset like that at that age, you can only go up. Schmuke will be a key name to remember.
1000 points secured as a sophomore? That clearly explains the versatility of her scoring ability. Hoffmann has the skillset of a strong combo guard, who can be impactful even when the ball is out of her hands. At all levels she can apply pressure to a defense, and her poised attitude goes perfect with how she plays the game. Will definitely be keeping a close eye on her progression over AAU season.
Having the opportunity to be around Lindsay before the season started.. I was privy to seeing a player who i just had a feeling would develop quick, even after constant talks with her coaches. Harzich simply just has all the skills that you need in a strong role player, and her ability to adjust to all situations is key to that as well. She gained a ton of confidence as the season was ending, and I definitely see her taking it to another level this spring and summer when she suits up for M14
