2023 Big Time Hoops Showcase: More Top Prospects

The 2023 Big Time Hoops Showcase was a two-day event held in Las Cruces, New Mexico that allowed 70+ showcase participants from across the State of NM & the greater El Paso area, to display their respective skills, in front of numerous collegiate programs with a round-robin style (4 game) tournament & a 3-Point Contest. On top of that, a NCAA Eligibility Seminar was held, allowing parents and players to gain an understanding of the processes and procedures of playing at the next level.    The Aforementioned Collegiate programs in attendance, ranged from multiple levels: D2, D3, NAIA & Juco   D2: ENMU, NMHU, WNMU   D3: Sul Ross State   NAIA: Northern NM College, University of the SW, York University    Juco: Scottsdale CC, Pima CC, Lamar CC, Howard College, Western Wyoming CC   Here are some prospects that made great impressions!   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   Audri Wright | 5'10” Forward | Sandia HS (NM) | 2025   Wright is a multifaceted player that has the ability to play out on the perimeter and in the paint area. Audri has a combination of strength & finesse - she can slither in the lane while also connecting DEEP from 3 point-range. Has the potential to lead a team but is a fantastic glue-player.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   [player_tooltip player_id='557018' first='Sierra' last='Dixson'] | 5'9” Forward/Guard | Manzano HS (NM) | 2023   Sierra is a small ball forward that does a good job of setting screens and picking'n'popping or rolling hard to the cup. Dixon runs the floor well, and is a solid weak side rebounder.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   [player_tooltip player_id='459604' first='Karleigh' last='Gutierrez'] | 5'8” Guard | La Cueva HS (NM) | 2023    Karleigh is a willing passer that is starting to really understand spacing and is becoming a steady floor general. Gutierrez, whose decision making has been great, does a good job of keeping her head up, often finding cutting teammates or open shooters in the corners.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   Kiera Livingston | 5'4” Guard | Gallup HS (NM) | 2023    Kiera is an absolute sniper from behind the arc that never falls off balance. Livingston is particularly deadly from the corners and wings that knows how to get off clean looks.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   Savannah Combs | 6'2” Center | Highland HS (NM) | 2026   Combs is a player to keep an eye on - A rim protecting forward with a ton of upside that has great length, and is also solid around the basket.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   Rochelle Lopez | 5'4” Guard | Penasco HS (NM) | 2026   Rochelle is a budding guard that plays with good energy, effort and has a high IQ beyond her age.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   [player_tooltip player_id='391240' first='Analise' last='Macauley'] | 5'7” Guard/Forward | Penasco HS (NM) | 2024   A High energy guard/forward that runs the floor well and can take it herself, coast-to-coast. Analise is an outstanding rebounder that high points the ball and consistently finds a body to box out.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   [player_tooltip player_id='557029' first='Addy' last='Offutt'] | 5'7” Guard | Animas HS (NM) | 2023   Possibly the hardest working participant, Offutt has a tremendous motor & is willing to compete every single possession. A player that hustles to loose balls, crashes the glass and sprints back on defense. Addy is tough to guard in transition, she is strong, fast and has a good “hesi” in open space. Offutt finished inside the top 15 in scoring at the BTH showcase with 10 ppg (13th best)   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   Maci Macias | 5'6” Guard | Santa Fe HS (NM) | 2023    Maci is another high energy player that hustles back on defense, fights thru/over ball screens and can take the ball coast-to-coast off a rebound or a blocked shot.
