One of the premier organizations on the circuit, NJ Rise is always stacked with superstar talent and hungry for success. This 15U National Team boasts some of the best freshmen in the state who are ready to take the 2023 AAU season by storm. The star power on this squad isn't limited to just the roster, as they are coached by the renowned Ellen Masonius, one of the most accomplished and well-respected head coaches in all of New Jersey basketball. This guard-heavy, dynamic and determined team is ready to make a bold statement this Spring!

Date

Event

Location

April 21-23

Boo Williams Nike Invitational

Hampton, VA

May 19-21

Atlantic City Showcase

Atlantic City, NJ

July 6-8

Run 4 Roses Classic

Louisville, KY

July 9-11

Run 4 Roses Championship

Louisville, KY

July 21-24

Select Events Summer Championship- Spooky Nook

Manheim, PA

*2023 live period schedule

[player_tooltip player_id='559040' first='Lola' last='Giordano'] - Red Bank Catholic (2026)

A future D1 prospect, Lola is a fierce and highly skilled competitor with a supreme basketball IQ. Her handles are effective as she slashes her way to the basket or kicks out to an open teammate. This combo guard can score it at all 3 levels, but her consistent mid-range jumper is where she is most lethal. As fierce as she is offensively, she is even more intense and tenacious on the defensive end, with her quick hands and even quicker feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='559031' first='Daniela' last='Maletsky'] - Red Bank Catholic (2026)

She has the length. She is lightning-quick. She plays physical and aggressive. In other words, Daniela is the total package! Watching her play, you'd never think she's a freshman, because of her mental fortitude and admirable been-there-before attitude. Her defense is dynamic, as she is equally as excellent an on-ball defender as she is off-ball. Her length and reach allows her to create havoc in the passing lanes and cause rapid turnovers. Offensively, she possesses a solid jump shot and extends her range out to the perimeter. She is a skilled two-way player.

[player_tooltip player_id='559069' first='Jordyn' last='Hollawell'] - Manasquan (2026)

A player who already knows tremendous success with her NJ Rise family, Jordyn's team claimed the USJN championship last summer and she then went on to see action in twenty-five games in her debut season with the Warriors. She is a lightning quick combo guard who never tires, outworking and outlasting opponents through and through. She's fantastic at creating shots off the dribble and finding tight spaces in the lane. In transition, her excellent decision-making skills lead to effective passes and efficient baskets. Jordyn is ready to seize the moment and help the team to another championship!

Synai Blychanton - Red Bank Regional (2026)

Playing for New Heights NYC 14U last season equipped Synai with the necessary confidence and tools to thrive at the high school level and beyond. Her layup package is highlight-reel worthy, as she is quick and crafty getting to the rim. She is an excellent rebounding-guard who isn't afraid to crash the glass with bigger, taller and stronger players. Her aggressive on-ball defense can be deflating, as opponents simply can't get past her or go around her. Synai is a future D1 lock and is primed to put all of AAU on notice this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='559824' first='Charlotte' last='Bradley'] - St. John Vianney (2026)

There is no better AAU preparation than playing on one of the nation's top-ranked high school teams in SJV. Practicing with and playing against the best players in the country has prepared Charlotte to be effective against any type of defense thrown at her. She is strong and skilled, with deep range extending well behind the arc. She knocked down sixteen triples this year, most of them against high pressure, tight defense with hands pressed up directly in her line of sight. At 5'9", she is a remarkable rebounding guard who gets after it on both ends. Charlotte's upside is boundless.

[player_tooltip player_id='559073' first='Grace' last='Feeney'] - Trinity Hall (2026)

Grace's impact at Trinity Hall in her freshman season was immediate. Coming off the bench, she made a huge splash pouring in 112 points and pulling down 82 rebounds. Her 5'10" frame and long, lengthy wingspan proved troublesome for defenders, as she was hard to stop when attacking the rim and difficult to defend when she caught fire from the mid-range. All indications point to a hugely successful season.

[player_tooltip player_id='559071' first='Logan' last='McCarthy'] - Manasquan (2026)

With a player like Logan on your team you simply can't go wrong! She contributes in ways that create winning opportunities and does a little bit of everything. She takes care of the ball, plays team defense, dives and scraps for 50/50 balls and never gives up on the play. She has superior court vision and makes the extra pass to find an open teammate whether in transition or out on the wing. Her smart shot selection and overall unselfish style of play are tools that will take her far in this sport she so dearly loves.

[player_tooltip player_id='559086' first='Niamh' last='Stapleton'] - Trinity Hall (2026)

Playing one of the best schedules in the state will surely prepare you for an AAU season that will see elite opponents day in and day out. Niamh kicked off her freshman campaign with Trinity Hall guns blazing, knocking down five 3's (and 22 points total) in four games off the bench. She will be effective in playing the forward position on this team because of her versatility and ability to defend both guards and wing players. Niamh isn't afraid of competition and instead embraces it and looks forward to playing the very best.

[player_tooltip player_id='559074' first='Riley' last='Wheeler'] - Red Bank Regional (2026)

Her freshman season was full of highlights and triumphs. She poured in a season-high 20 points against Colts Neck (including a season-high four 3-pointers, dished out a season-high 9 assists against Hopewell Valley and played ferociously en route to 120 points, 37 rebounds, 78 assists, 27 steals and 21 3-pointers in 28 games played. A designated combo guard, Riley's 78 assists served as proof of her ability to slide to the point, whereas her sniper-like shooting from 3 and lethal mid-range game were both effective parts of her role playing the 2. She is a driven, passionate and team-oriented hooper that will bring a ton of offensive firepower & leadership to this team.
