She made great decisions with the ball such as where to move the ball and who to get the ball to. She can pick her defenders game apart with her offensive options. She can shoot-the-3, off-the-dribble, and break her defender down with her handle. She did well around the rim. She's a raw talent that plays hard. She can be a great player, in my opinion, she needs more time to develop and find herself on the court. As of now she's a good player with ability to do it all out there, however I would say she has a specific style of play at the moment. Being that she's is a talented scorer and that she's aggressive - she's more of a scorer, at the moment, than a floor general. I think she has extreme upside and can develop into a player any program will want.

[player_tooltip player_id='393008' first='Jessica' last='Maina']

[player_tooltip player_id='393008' first='Jessica' last='Maina'] can be a monster. She has it in her to be a beast. I seen It in her at the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase. I also seen It in her during the NEPSAC season. At the ihoopcrazy elite 40 showcase, she did well attacking off the first step and using her size. She has a good mid-range attack game, she understands the defenses pressure points and how to attack the open spaces. What stood out to me was how smooth her jump shot was. What stands out most In her game is her shooting ability. What drew her back was that she wasn't as aggressive as she could have been. She held herself back at the showcase, had she went out there and played her game, she'd be a premier player at the showcase.

Lillie Carlile

Lillie Carlile is a sharp combo-guard that can do a little bit of it all. She can shoot the ball well and does well at identifying gaps in the defense and attacking them. She's not a very vocal player but she a leader on the court through her decisions. She plays hard and is willing to do whatever she needs to do to contribute to the team. She has a good wing-game. At the ihoopcrazy elite 40 showcase, I didn't see her have trouble with any aspect of the game. Offensively, what stood out to me was how versatile she was. I was impressed at how well she under stands the game. She assess the situation and views her options before making any decisions. If she is open, she will shoot it and if she is played too tight she will go by her defender, in that regard, she's versatile. On the defensive end, Lillie is well disciplined and doesn't gamble. She's does a good job turning her opponent and dictating where they go and what they do. She was hands-down one of the best defenders at the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='481352' first='Sophia' last='Capsalis']

[player_tooltip player_id='481352' first='Sophia' last='Capsalis'] is a profound combo-guard with good size on her. At the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase, she was a standout and what separated her from the other girls at the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase was her ability to hit shots in crunch-time. Sophia drained a number of mid-range jumpshots off the rip-one-dribble wing. Not something most girls were dong at the showcase. She has a smooth jump-shot with a quick release. She has a shooters mentality as she's always ready to let it fly. She was one of the only players that made it a point to be vocal on defense. When there was a screen she let her teammates know. Her versatility makes her a highly marketable player. She has a good combination of skillsets that a player her size normally does not. She's a player to pay more attention to.

Emily Guilfoyle

I seen Emily first play at Thayer Academy and knew she was a player that had the tools and the capability to play at an elite level so I needed to see her at the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase. There, I was able to get a good feel for how she competes against top tier talent and she did really well. I was impressed by how she used her body down low to feel her opponents out to gain better positioning. When watching her at the ihoopcrazy elite 40 showcase, I've noticed, she gets the ball in the deep mid-range and attacks very quickly. She gets her defender on her hip or even on her back, turns around, rips and takes the first option. I would have liked to see her expand her range and add a pick-and-pop option to her game. She played well at the 4 spot and set good screens and played good defense as a "big". When she was in position to guard smaller guards she did well with that as well. I think what she needs to take her game to the next level is to add a more muscle to her body. This will make her a physical force down low. I also think she should work on becoming a lethal shooter as it will open up her options, tremendously. I am looking forward to seeing her play more!
