Over the next few days, I want to highlight some kids I'll be making time to see when the next live period comes around in May. There are plenty of kids who I wanted to take the time to sit and watch multiple games but didn't have time to do it. I'll have two articles up tonight regarding kids of that ilk, and this is the second.

[player_tooltip player_id='509707' first='Lilly' last='Moschkau']

Every team needs to have a kid like Moschkau on it. She fits into any role you need her to play, and with space, she's a knockdown shooter. She does a good job moving without the ball and digs in defensively. The Edgewood product won't be a kid that pops on her Wisconsin Elite team, but she's elite at what she needs to do to help her team win, and that's why coaches should watch her.

[player_tooltip player_id='209589' first='Mataya' last='Machovec Fernandez']

There aren't many kids with a higher basketball IQ in her class than Taya Fernandez. She sees the floor well and can punish the defense herself. Her threat to score and pass makes her a headache for anyone defensively. The more I watch her, the more I like her. One thing I always go back to with this 2024 Let it Rain team was how well they played against North Tartan's 2024 EYBL runner-up team. They did a good job exploiting mismatches in that game, and Fernandez was integral to that.

[player_tooltip player_id='767279' first='Laci' last='Lindsey']

Imagine another Lindsey who is very good at basketball. I know it's surprising. However, I liked how Lindsey shot the ball. Her length caused problems for smaller guards she matched up with on that end of the floor. I thought everyone on her team didn't play their best, but it's one that I'll chalk up to being an 8 am game on Sunday. I believe there's a lot to her game that she showed flashes of, and I'm eager to see what she looks like at the upcoming few events I'll attend.

[player_tooltip player_id='521878' first='Noelle' last='Anthon']

I didn't see Anthon this weekend, but I've heard plenty of buzz about her since her first AAU tournament a few weeks ago. She's a 6-2 Oconomowoc kid and has shown flashes of exciting potential with Wisconsin Impact. Playing with [player_tooltip player_id='338941' first='Tess' last='Wiczek'] means we'll see how good Anthon is and what she's capable of. She's a solid athlete and can finish around the rim. I'm eager to see what she can do over the next month.
