With Izzy's combination of size and feel around the paint, she's a two-way problem. Simone protects the rim with her verticality, length and timing as she forces opponents to take well-contested shots. Plus, she's a near double-digit rebounder every contest. And offensively, Izzy is comfortable all over the post, a smart passer, and has a few go-to moves on both sides of the cup with range going out 15-feet or so. Keep watch on Izzy.

The point-forward gets a slot in both previews due to her versatility. It's Jasmin's strong frame and willpower which provides her the ability to play bigger than she is both offensively and certainly defensively. While she's most comfortable on the perimeter offensively, Charlotte is certainly capable of battling around the post with her finishing package within 15-feet of the rim. And defensively, she can body 4s around the paint and clean the glass. A multi-positional player with a serious motor, Charlotte is for real.

A natural 4, Emma's post presence is felt on both sides of the ball. Defensively, Grimes uses her toughness and size to prevent post players from getting to their spots, and she forces tough shots because of it. Furthermore, she has a scoring package around the post with her baby hooks and up-and-unders, plus her passing out of the post is timely. Grimes is a feisty rebounder with quick outlets, and her energy is infectious, both as a hardworking player and supportive teammate. Intangibles and hustle.

Haley Carey, 5'9 W/F - BFA St. Albans Class of 2026

Carey is someone who can swing between the 3 and the 4 position. Haley's a hardnosed defender who can handle physical post play and bigger wings. Offensively, Carey is a solid passer and mover off the ball, and her finishing continues to improve. Additionally, she does the dirty work such as tracking down 50/50 balls and battling on the offensive glass. Haley's work, while it's not always in the box score, shouldn't go unnoticed.
