Rounding out the stat leaders is Alana, who is averaging 2.8 blocks per game and anchoring the paint with authority. Alana’s presence alone alters how opponents attack the basket, as she consistently takes away easy looks around the rim. What makes her such an elite shot blocker is her combination of athleticism and discipline—she doesn’t chase every fake or leave her feet unnecessarily. Instead, she waits, times her jump, and meets shots at their highest point. Even more impressive is her versatility; Alana can step outside the post and still recover to block shots, showcasing her mobility and instincts. Her defensive impact goes beyond the blocks themselves, as she forces teams to rethink their offensive approach whenever she’s on the floor.

Myles, currently listed at 6 feet tall on her X (https://x.com/darealtootie4) page is a versatile center who can secure a defensive rebound and immediately push the pace in transition. She excels at getting downhill, often turning defensive stops into fast-break opportunities and challenging bigger players to a foot race with or without the ball and she wins. Her instincts in the press allow her to anticipate and steal long passes from the second layer of defense. Around the rim, she finishes through contact with either hand, showing balance and control in traffic. She runs the floor hard, creating mismatches and easy scoring chances for herself and her teammates. Her unique combination of size, agility, and skill makes her a constant threat in both the half-court and transition game.

Alana is known for her elite offensive abilities, but her abilities as a shot blocker are very underrated. Alana can appear to be out of a play, then boom, she’s sending someone’s shot out of bounds. Watching her play, she’s great at selling with her eyes on defense, it may look like she’s not paying attention and that the player has an easy shot, but that is never the case with Alana; she sees everything.

Myles impressed all weekend at the Upward Star Center, but one of her signature performances occurred on Sunday morning. Her My Sister’s Keeper 2026 assembling continued its winning ways with a dominant outing against Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027. Myles finished the game with 14 points which led all point-getters for the Louisiana-based travel team. Yes, Myles is tall as the rising sophomore standout from Bastrop is listed at 5-foot-11. But she also plays with a high basketball IQ and understands that her bread and butter is her ability to make plays – scoring, rebounding and shot-blocking – while near the rim.
