[player_tooltip player_id='385929' first='Alyssa' last='Maes'] | St. Pius X| SG: Despite being a shooting guard, [player_tooltip player_id='385929' first='Alyssa' last='Maes'] is one of the better All-Around players in the state. She knows how to affect the game and outcome beyond scoring the basketball. [player_tooltip player_id='385929' first='Alyssa' last='Maes'] is a solid rebounder for a guard and is a good passer setting up her teammates. She is often aggressive looking for her shot and that helps her get her teammates going because of the constant attention going her way. [player_tooltip player_id='385929' first='Alyssa' last='Maes'] was the best player on a St. Pius X team that reached the 4A Girls State Semifinals this past season.

[player_tooltip player_id='357678' first='Olivia' last='Montano'] | Sandia | CG: Despite not playing this year and being ineligible because of the state's transfers rules, [player_tooltip player_id='357678' first='Olivia' last='Montano'] is a player that you need to keep your eyes on this summer. The Sandia Lady Matadors could've used her in their playoff run this past season and will be a nice addition for the club next year. [player_tooltip player_id='357678' first='Olivia' last='Montano'] gives them more depth, scoring, shooting and playmaking to the table. If the Sandia Lady Matadors want to win a 5A State Title, they'll need to go through teams like Hobbs, Volcano Vista and La Cueva. She can potentially be the missing piece to the puzzle.

[player_tooltip player_id='357677' first='Destiny' last='Jackson'] | West Mesa | CG: The West Mesa Star can play either guard position and can play on or off the basketball really well. [player_tooltip player_id='357677' first='Destiny' last='Jackson'] though is clearly better with the basketball in her hands and often makes the right decisions with it. For a smaller guard, she rebounds really well and is a good passer. She runs the floor well on offense and makes solid reads for the West Mesa Mustangs.

[player_tooltip player_id='357652' first='Azalia' last='Malizia'] | Valencia | PG: [player_tooltip player_id='357652' first='Azalia' last='Malizia'] is a winning point guard that has helped the Valencia Jaguars produce consistent success the previous two seasons with back-to-back playoff berths. She is a scoring first guard that spaces the floor with her shooting from beyond the arc. Her numbers increased across the board this past season following her sophomore year to her junior year. I expect her to continue increasing her production and value as she heads into her senior season next year.
