Carmen is a great two-way player for West Seattle, and I can’t wait to see how she fairs against some spectacular talent in the Metro Conference. She pressures her defender really well and displays outstanding hustle. She’s also a great facilitator on offense; she aggressively attacks the paint and has shown she can knock down three-point shots. I am very interested to see her and West Seattle play soon.

Another great player from West Seattle, Carmen is great on both ends of the court. Defensively, she has great on-ball pressure and plays with great hustle. On the offensive side of the ball, she drives to the hoop with intent and is great and finding her teammates, and can knock down jumpers from both mid-range and three-point range. Going into her junior season, she could be a difference maker for West Seattle.

Carmen is going to be a versatile player with some length and athletic ability to work with. She also showed some skills, hitting the three, and using pull-up jumpers. I was probably most impressed with the hustle and defensive ball pressure. She also can get to the basket with the dribble and shoot with a soft touch extending to the three point line. She even had some nice drive and kicks to open perimeter players, which is an underrated play in basketball these days. A high ceiling player and possible rankings riser.
