Wartburg got a little bit better last week when Katelyn Aden Katelyn Aden 6'0" | CG Carroll | 2025 State IA of Carroll High School committed to their program for next season. If you understand the D3 level and how good some of the teams are, then you know that Wartburg always brings a seasoned product to the floor with a lot of talent at every position. Aden happens to be a player with better than average size for a CG at 6’0. At the next level, she will most likely move between the 3 and the 4 spot but who knows. Maybe she moves to the 2 spot at times depending on who is around her. At the 1A level right now, she can obviously do it all so it’ll be nice to see how she fairs at the collegiate ranks, once she does get there in a few months.

Katelyn Aden Katelyn Aden 6'0" | CG Carroll | 2025 State IA is going to be competing at the D3 level in one way or another before her basketball career comes to a close if she wants. If she happens to really stick with it and progresses, she could even maybe take it further in the grand scheme of things but for right now, she is only worried about the present and what she can control. As of most recent, Aden received an offer from Coe College out of Cedar Rapids. This offer brings her total up to 2-3 but I’m sure a few more will trickle in before she ends up making a final decision. Her natural size at around 6’0 is something any coach can work with and she is pretty skilled in her own right already so anything is possible.

I just touched on Katelyn Aden Katelyn Aden 6'0" | CG Carroll | 2025 State IA three days ago and right before that, she received an offer to compete at Dakota State University following her high school career at Carroll. Aden is in an interesting position. She is a very good prospect with a lot of great people/old players in her corner with connections. If she can continue to work hard, I’m sure that she is going to take her game to a whole other level by the time that she would step onto the collegiate floor. All she has to do is go out and make it happen now. Something that is more than doable.

One of the more underrated prospects out of the 2025 Class in Iowa is CG, Katelyn Aden Katelyn Aden 6'0" | CG Carroll | 2025 State IA of Carroll High School. Carroll High School is going to return a few prospects this upcoming season with some real size and potential. Aden will compete on and off the ball for her team with her ability switch up whatever she is doing on the floor in the blink of an eye if need be. In this Update, Aden lands at #37 moving into the Fall. If she has a great July with her Play4Him AAU program, she could move up come the Winter Update before you know it.
