We will have a write-up on every player at the event starting on July 1. Today, we will start you off with a look at the standouts from Friday’s championship game. Team 2 defeated Team 1 63-40 in the Final Game.
Breanna Dohleman (East Carter): The 6’2″ 2024 post player was a force in the championship game as she scored 11 points and grabbed just about as many rebounds. She set the tone early with three inside buckets on the first three possessions of the game. She used her size very well and had good footwork inside along with a nice shooting touch off the glass. She also stepped out and knocked down a 3-pointer from the corner. She was the top post player in the event.

Elizabeth Reed Elizabeth Reed 5'5" | PG Washington | 2024 State MO (Washington): The 5’4″ 2024 point guard scored a game-high 16 points to lead her team to the championship win. She played with a high motor at both ends of the court. She scored on penetrating drives and in the transition game. She even went inside and grabbed her share of rebounds against much taller players. She was hustling for loose balls and she even took two charges under the basket.

Charlee Bailey Charlee Bailey 5'7" | CG Tipton | 2025 State MO (Tipton): The 5’7″ 2025 guard scored a team-high 11 points for Team 1 in the championship game. She shot the ball from 3-point range throughout the event and that continued in the finals as she knocked down three triples. She shoots the ball very well off the catch and she also moves very well to the open spots on the floor. She has good fundamentals as she makes good use of ball fakes and she knows how to relocate to get herself open.
******
Hannah Gibbons Hannah Gibbons 5'9" | CG RUSH | 2024 State MO (RUSH): The 5’9″ 2024 guard scored 10 points for Team 2 as she displayed her smooth shooting stroke from long distance. She was one of the top perimeter shooters in the event. She can dial it up out to 25 feet with confidence as she has a quick release to go along with her range. She also has good length, which she uses to play the passing lanes for steals and deflections.
******
Brooklyn Adney (Strafford): A 5’7″ 2025 guard who scored eight points for Team 1 in the championship game. She did a good job of getting downhill on the dribble with the ability to finish with either hand effectively. She uses ball fakes well to lift defenders up to set up her drives and pull up jumpers in the lane. She also did a good job in the transition game.

Lillian Mindeman Lillian Mindeman 5'4" | PG Southern Missouri RUSH | 2024 State MO (RUSH): A 5’4″ 2024 point guard who has good quickness and she plays with a good pass-first mentality. She gets downhill very well on dribble penetration and she was kicking it to open shooters for 3-pointers or dropping it off for layups. She also drained an open 3-pointer as well. She is also a good on-ball defender who moves her feet to keep ball handlers in front of her.
