Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the third group of teams from the state who participated in last week's Midwest Basketball Showcase, which was held at the HyVee Arena in Kansas City.

RAYMORE-PECULIAR

[player_tooltip player_id='351817' first='Sophie' last='Terry']: The 6'0" 2026 guard was one of the more impressive prospects that I watched at the event. Not only did she get buckets at a high rate, but she was the primary ball handler and playmaker. She did an excellent job of making her teammates better with her passing and putting them in a position to succeed. She is a versatile talent with her height and ability to excel inside and on the perimeter.

Isa Odom: A 5'8" 2025 guard who plays an aggressive style and she does all of the little things to help her team. She takes charges on the defensive end while also rebounding very well and guarding at multiple spots. She can also handle the ball and operate from the high post very effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='984331' first='Peyton' last='Johnson']: A 5'7 2025 guard who provided excellent 3-point shooting throughout the event. She did a very good job of finding the open spots and knocking down triples off the catch.

******

ROCK BRIDGE

[player_tooltip player_id='351752' first='Jayda' last='Porter']: The 6'4" 2026 forward was there for the second day of the event and the different was immense with her in the middle of the lineup. She can score in the post and hit the perimeter jumper. She can facilitate offense with her ability to pass either from the high post or out of a double team. She also anchors the middle with her shot blocking.

[player_tooltip player_id='302783' first='Mari' last='Miller']: The 5'11" 2025 wing player is a skilled offensive player as she was making the 3-pointer and shooting it off the dribble with good results. Her off the ball movement was also very good. She was also rebounding the ball well in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='351749' first='Cora' last='Smith']: The 6'0" 2026 forward came off the bench to provide instant offense with her perimeter shooting. She spaced the floor well with her ability to hit the 3-pointer.

[player_tooltip player_id='302782' first='Elli' last='Porter']: A transfer from Kirksville, she will be a big addition with her offensive ability and ball handling. She will give the Bruins another strong perimeter threat from 3-point range as she showed during the event.

Tylor McCallister: The 5'5" 2025 point guard is once again a steady hand as the team's floor leader and playmaker. She was keeping things organized on the offensive end and she played solid defense. She has a nice float game when she gets into the lane.

******

STALEY

[player_tooltip player_id='317343' first='Ava' last='Miles']: The 6'0" 2026 guard was one of top all-around prospects at the event. She can play the point guard and facilitator role while also getting buckets on slashing drives and perimeter jumpers. She was also a standout on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='458975' first='Londyn' last='Parker']: The 5'9" 2026 point guard who plays with a high motor along with her speed and physical strength. The lefty touches the paint on the drive on a regular basis and she is a tenacious defender. She received a Division I offer from Wichita State after the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='803073' first='Brielle' last='Mays']: A talented 5'9" 2027 guard who can slash into the lane for buckets or set up on the perimeter to knock down 3-pointers. She was very effective in the open court game.

[player_tooltip player_id='803061' first='Destiny' last='Manyawu']: The 6'1" 2027 forward used her height and length to her advantage as she grabbed several offensive boards. She was also blocking shots and running the court.

******

VASHON

[player_tooltip player_id='194409' first='Chantrel' last='Clayton']: The 5'8" 2024 guard was one of the top scorers at the event.
