It's been a busy week of time in New Jersey with three high school prospects committing from the 2024 class. We expect plenty more to come in the following weeks and months, but for now, let's take a look at who has decided to take their basketball talents to the next level upcoming.

Baynes' commitment took us a bit off-guard on Tuesday as the 2024 prospect out of Paul VI announced on social media that she'll be continuing her basketball career at Monmouth.

The guard had a much-improved junior year for the Eagles, averaging just under 10.0 PPG while knocking down more than a three-pointer a game. She was a solid scoring option and a great impact piece for PVI alongside Hannah Hidalgo, and her role will only grow in importance as a senior while the Eagles look to fill in the production gaps.

[player_tooltip player_id='325189' first='Cristina' last='Parrella'] - Saddle River Day (2024) commits to Princeton

St. John Vianney alum Madison St. Rose is going to have some New Jersey company alongside her come 2024 as Parrella committed to the Tigers on June 21.

Parrella made a big statement in her first season with SRD last season, averaging 16.2 PPG in 16 games with a number of 20-point performances sprinkled into the mix. Consistency is her strongsuit and she does it incredibly well, probably as well as any guard we've seen. Being 5-10 doesn't hurt that either as a taller guard with size and strength to boot.

[player_tooltip player_id='406936' first='Allison' last='Cannon'] - Holmdel (2024) commits to NJIT

Our last commit to include in this article is the latest one since our last update, 2024 Holmdel guard [player_tooltip player_id='406936' first='Allison' last='Cannon'], who announced she would be headed to NJIT on social media on June 21.

She's coming off easily her best season in a Holmdel uniform, and it's perfect timing as she'll be undoubtedly making a run at 1000 career points as a Hornet. Cannon averaged 14.9 PPG with 4.2 APG last season, and with as good a defender as she's been, recording nearly four steals a game, she'll be one of the more entertaining guards to watch in the Shore Conference.
