2025 Rankings: Newcomers

She got a chance to run with her new teammates in Section 7 and fit right in. The shifty guard plays hard nosed defense and can score when needed.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='655631' first='Carmella' last='Gallardo'] <strong>Seton Catholic</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The smooth shooting guard will take on a more prominent role of scorer and ball handler for SCP. She's as fearless as they come when it comes to shooting. Gallardo will probably be the leading scorer for the Sentinels. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='660348' first='Layla' last='Franklin'] <strong>Arizona College Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Franklin plays at a smaller school but she puts in work nonetheless. She was one of the few players to average a double double last season and should put up even better numbers this time around. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='660337' first='Sophie' last='Morales'] <strong>Seton Catholic (Featured Image)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Morales is the engine that drives the Sentinels ship. She is a crafty lead guard with plenty of weapons surrounding her. Even though she can score some when needed she is more satisfied with setting up her teammates. With Morales leading the way, Seton should have a very good season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='669794' first='Atheil' last='Mlat'] <strong>Xavier</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Malot's sophomore season was cut short by injuries but her Junior season looks to be different. Her length and wingspan are hard to ignore and as she plays more she will become more effective. Just another weapon for the Gators to have in their arsenal. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='660334' first='Mia' last='DiPuccio']<strong> Seton Catholic</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mia is a hardworking forward who constantly puts pressure on the defense. She has a versatile skill set and likes to operate from the low and high post. She is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. She uses very good instincts on both ends of the floor. As her offense continues to develop she will be even more effective. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
