Run 4 the Roses Standout 2025 Forwards

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the standout Class of 2025 forwards from the state who we saw at the Run 4 the Roses Classic in Louisville, KY   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_4461.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-716031" /></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='630887' first='Libby' last='Fanning'] (Rainmakers 17U): The 6'0 forward from College Heights was one of the most impressive low post players that I watched. She really knows how to play the inside game with her positioning, footwork and variety of moves to score. She can also step out and hit the 3-pointer. She is also an excellent rebounder.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_4655.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-729245" width="210" height="157" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='509644' first='Kennedy' last='Horton'] ([program_tooltip program_id='713121' first='Lady' last='Brad Beal Elite']): The 6'1 forward from Pattonville was all about the rebounds and rim runs in the game that I watched her. She used her length and athleticism to attack the boards aggressively. I liked how she was grabbing boards at its highest point. She was also running the court well. She also hit the 3-pointer off the pick and pop.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/07/18A3BF53-1A6E-4589-B5F4-71B451C33821.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-459820" /></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='411084' first='Addie' last='Kane'] (Napheesa Collier Elite - McDaniel): A 5'11 forward from Westminster who can really wheel and deal around the basket. She has good footwork and she was very effective at using fakes. She also gave a good second effort on the offensive boards. She has also extended her shooting to past the 3-point line.     ******   [player_tooltip player_id='296935' first='Avery' last='Rausch'] (Earl Watson Academy): A 5'10 small forward from Lee's Summit who helps her team in many ways with her versatility and great feel for the game. She facilitates offense with her excellent passing and she can stretch the floor with her 3-point shooting. She guards multiple positions with her height and defensive instincts as she makes great rotations to get steals out top and blocks around the basket.     *****     [player_tooltip player_id='637978' first='Kylee' last='Cole'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight']): A 5'8 small forward from Aurora who operates well inside against taller players with good positioning and know-how. She uses her body to create contact and also to shield defenders inside. She can score with either hand and she also has a nice runner in the lane.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_4522.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-729246" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='418790' first='Beclynn' last='Garrett'] ([program_tooltip program_id='713014' first='MO' last='Legacy'] 17U): A 5'11 small forward from Neosho who is an excellent all-purpose player who helps the team with her unselfish play. She's a good secondary ball handler and passer who keeps things moving on offense. I also liked how she was constantly screening and getting teammates open. She is rounding into good playing form after missing much of the high season with an injury.     ******     [player_tooltip player_id='865966' first='Alee' last='Willard'] (Hooplife 17U): A 6'0 forward from Alton who is playing up with a 17U team. She provides a nice physical presence in the post. She is also a very willing and effective screener. She's very good at establishing her position either for low post touches or for rebounding.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_4658.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-729252" /></figure>   Alandyn Simmons ([program_tooltip program_id='713121' first='Lady' last='Brad Beal Elite']): The 5'9 forward from Lift for Life earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team with her strong performances. Although she's undersized inside, she outworks taller players with her motor and physical strength. She's always working for position and she has a nice touch inside. She can also hit the 10-12 foot jumper.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/07/IMG_4795.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-729247" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='457472' first='Sophia' last='Otten'] (Napheesa Collier Elite - Wilkenson): A 6'2 forward from Incarnate Word who was a reliable offensive threat inside during the tournament. She utilized her size to establish her position well and she displayed a nice shooting touch. She could also flare out and hit the 3-pointer. She is also a solid passer who rebounds the ball well. She also has good mobility at both ends of the court.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/05/Sydney-Bode.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-653328" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='730180' first='Sydney' last='Bode'] (Mavericks G-Elite): A 6'2 forward from Marquette who uses her height well to score inside but she is skilled enough to move her game to the perimeter. She catches from the high post and can make a nice pass or make a nice move off the dribble. Her passing skills are indeed excellent.
