Olivia is a high level scorer who thrives attacking the rim and pulling up in the mid range. She plays with strength, confidence, and a scorer’s mentality. Already committed to Southeastern University, she continues to elevate her game and production. Olivia is averaging 21 ppg, shooting 82.3 percent from the free throw line, and pulling down 7.5 rebounds per game. She is a consistent double digit scorer who can take over stretches of a game.

Olivia Ginn Olivia Ginn 5'5" | PG Grant County | 2027 State KY has committed to Southeastern University, becoming the third prospect from the class of 2027 to announce her college decision. Head Coach Joshua Epperson now has a commitment from Kentucky’s classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027, continuing to build a strong pipeline of talent for the Fire.

Ginn dances with the rock, and plays like she has multiple sets of eyes! Olivia’s difficult to guard simply because she never stops moving, and her swift jab cuts create open shots. Tremendous shooter from outside! She is the heartbeat of the offense! (Below with ball, Featured photo)

With Olivia being from Kentucky, this was my first time seeing her, but she was electric and brought a lot of intriguing qualities to the game. She has really nice length considering her height. She is quick, fast, and feisty, and she uses those tools at both ends of the floor. She can sit down and defend the ball, she creates steals/deflections, and she can help her team change ends of the floor quickly. Offensively, she buried a couple of rhythm jumpers, but it was her ability to dissect the defense and get through the lane consistently that stood out.

Olivia has all the intangibles you love to see in a floor general. She knows how to run the show, plays unselfishly, and has excellent court-vision, always looking to create opportunities for her teammates. Olivia can break down defenders off the dribble, get into the lane, and drop off floaters with touch. She also knocks down the three-ball at a good clip. Defensively, she uses her speed and anticipation to jump passing lanes for steals. She’s running with IGB 16U S4O EPP this AAU season.

I like what I saw from the Olivia at the Billy Hicks. She pushed the pace and did a nice job initiating the offense. She played under control and didn’t let the defensive pressure speed her up. Olivia set good screens, worked hard for rebounds over taller players, and shot the ball efficiently from the field and from behind the line.
