Zoey turned in an impressive effort for Roscommon in the state semifinals against Pewamo-Westphalia. She paced the Bucks with 16 points and added five rebounds. Zoey’s ability to shift into a higher gear to beat defenders off the dribble, skillful finishing using every inch of the glass, high motor, footwork in traffic, length, athleticism, and floater game made her a standout guard-wing prospect at the Breslin Center.

Zoey turned in a determined effort for Roscommon in the State Semifinal. She split defenders after a DHO, getting downhill in a hurry, then dropped in a smooth floater in a crowd. Zoey used a quick rip move, attacked, and dropped in another soft floater off the glass before the help arrived. She took a defensive rebound coast to coast and side-stepped a defender to cause a foul. Zoey showed an extra gear when she pushed the ball in transition, used the glass very well on her finishes, and anticipated passes on the defensive end to generate steals. She picked off a pass and took it all the way for two points. Zoey led the Bucks with 16 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Zoey, a senior guard for Roscommon and a commit to Mid Michigan College, came up big in her team’s Quarterfinal win over Morley Stanwood. She led the way in a hard-fought overtime victory, finishing with 25 points while scoring from all areas of the floor. Zoey also showed her composure in clutch moments, knocking down key free throws late to help seal the win. On the defensive end, she used her length to disrupt opponents and make plays. As Roscommon takes the floor today, she’ll once again be counted on to deliver a strong performance with a trip to the state championship game on the line.
