A versatile 6-foot wing, she can score in the post, knock down shots from the outside, get downhill from the perimeter, and is a volume rebounder. Hopkins eclipsed 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds, earned First Team All-Region honors, and recently picked up an offer from the University of Pikeville. Expect her to continue to climb the list.

In the last games of this season Maddy surpassed 2000 varsity points, 1000 varsity rebounds and led her team to their first region appearance in years.

Hopkins is a guard with great size and a unique skill set. She can knock down shots from 3-point land and does a good job getting her feet set and eyes on the rim. Hopkins rebounds the ball extremely well for a guard and can defend the perimeter as well as the post. She led the team in scoring last season and I expect her to do much of the same if not more this season.
