She’s a speedy guard who does a great job with hesitations, opening her hips up, and giving the impression she could go either direction. She can attack gaps and create off the dribble with blow-by’s to draw extra attention and really open things up for her teammates.

Bella is an outstanding defensive player, moving her feet quickly and having insanely quick reaction time. Offensively, she got deep in the paint often, being able to go through contact to get the bucket and the foul more times than not. She shoots the ball well too and is set for a big season.

Bella really stood-out to me with her defensive play. She has quick feet and can react in a split section. She is quick off the dribble too, using her great first step to get by defenders and get in the paint. Trias-Ruiz finished well down low, being able to absorb contact easily.

Bella is a fantastic shooter on the court and can score from all 3 levels, being a top scorer in the 2027 class. She has been showing tremendous improvement since last season ended, playing at a high level for Tree of Hope on the AAU scene and even playing great for Kings during the summer league season. She has great handles too, rarely turning the ball over. She is one of my favorite 2027 players to watch.

Bella was just a freshman last year but played very well and made a name for herself. This AAU season she has been playing with Tree of Hope and elevating her game in a big way. Something that really has stood out is her ability to push the ball in transition. Now when I say that, it doesn’t just mean pushing the ball with her dribbling abilities, but also her vision and ability to look up the court and push it with a pass. She is going to be a name to keep an eye on.
