Eliana’s game has been evolving in a big way, becoming a 3 level scorer and high level playmaker. Gibson is a very smooth point guard who can facilitate the offense smoothly and is excellent in the pick and roll game. She is going to have a breakout season for Camas.

Eliana plays under control with patience when on the court, reading opposing defenses quickly and being able to attack weak spots within the defense. She has a quick release from deep and can score from all 3 levels. Gibson has an elite left hand and will thrive for Camas next year.

Eliana might be easy to forget on this Camas team due to the amount of talent on the squad but, that won’t last for long. Gibson is on track to be a big time player for her squad once again. She is a phenomenal point guard who runs the court well and knows how to attack defenses. Her mid-range game is knock down and she can fire from anyone beyond the three point line to sink the shot. She is going to have a massive season next year.

I saw her last summer at the freshman showcase where she was an all tournament selection. She is in the mold of a true point guard who handles the ball with confidence and ease. She isn’t the biggest guard but her ball skills make her bigger than she is. She has a lot of moves on the perimeter to free herself and be a playmaker at the point. She is skilled and has molded herself into a true point that has great basketball IQ and floor vision. She makes good decisions and takes care of the ball. A bigger role ahead as Camas loses a lot to graduation.
