Labor Day Special: Putting In Work

Many high school basketball players put everything they have into their sport and deserve to celebrate the work that they put into the game. The ball skills and the understanding of and ability to utilize her length on the defensive end.....those don't come for free. A year or so ago she was an underrated guard that some people told me to watch out for. Fast forward to today and a hundred or so spots higher in the prospect rankings and you'll see one of the best point guards in the state. Give me 5 Tayla Dllard's and you're handing me championships. She plays with as much grit as any player in the state of Michigan. She's willing to sacrifice and lay it all on the line for her team. A big part of that is the work ethic and heart that she trains and plays with. I know that if Freshcorn steps on the basketball court, I'm going to see her go after it. She's a leader that's always respected by peers and teammates. She's gone from no offers to a handful of really good ones because she believed in herself and kept working. People saw her game this summer. Yeah, they saw that she could shoot. That was pretty obvious.
