We appreciate you checking out our 2026 Rankings edition for the month of September 2023, this rankings edition is critical to get to know some of the seniors who will be putting in some work for their teams and those who we might not know of in the class. These kids were seen by our staff and we believe that they belong in this editon of our rankings, hope you enjoy reading the articles on our New Additions.

2026, 5'5, PG, Woodside Priory HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='763603' first='Adelaide' last='Chan'] – point guard of the team, keeps the tempo of the game solid and consistent, makes players on the floor better, she is solid in game control and has a pretty good IQ for the game. She knocked down a key three pointer to keep her team close in the second half.

2026, 5'11, SF, Woodside Priory HS (CA), [player_tooltip player_id='763605' first='Jordyn' last='Moss'] – athletic wing type that is very active on the floor, she can get to the rim and finish as well as is a problem on the defensive side of the floor. She is very active and is able to make various type of shots while playing. Her shooting needs improvement.

2026, 5'3, PG, Westchester HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763607' first='Diem' last='Gilbert'] – Gilbert was a tough little player with a knack for scoring and passing. She stood out for being able to consistently break down the defense and attack off the dribble. She's on the small side but can be effective. She pushes the pace well in transition and is very quick when getting downhill. Able to finish at the basket, but sometimes bothered by size. When she gets into the lane she can kick out to open teammates.

2026, 5'5. PG, Vista Murrieta HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763609' first='Alyssa' last='Newby'] - Newby came off the bench in the game I saw but she made an immediate impact as a point guard/primary ball-handler. She's comfortable running the offense, able to decipher when to make the pass and when to look for her shot. Good job passing and relocating. Pushes the pace in transition. Her slashing game is her strength and she was able to consistently finish at the basket. Communicates well on the defensive end.

2026, 5'5, PG, Camarillo HS, Daniela Rocha – Veloz - This was my first time seeing Daniela Rocha play and she stood out as a good wing scorer. She can handle the ball but is more of a shooting guard. Comfortable handling the ball in the halfcourt and creating her own shot. Uses shot fakes to get to the defender in the air and able to hit the pull-up in the midrange. Can hit step-back threes. Able to draw contact at the basket. Defensively, solid on ball sliding feet and keep ball-handler in front of her.

2026, 5'5, CG, Camarillo HS, Liz Rocha – Veloz - Liz Rocha, like her twin sister Daniela, is also comfortable being a ball-handler in the halfcourt and looking to get her own shot. Likes the baseline drive; able to use fakes and put the ball on the floor to attack the basket. Liz stood out as more of an off-ball player though. She moves well without the ball, makes hard cuts around the basket with good hands ready for teammates passes.

2026, 5'7, CG, Sun Valley Poly HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763613' first='Jhada' last='Cordon'] – Cordon was able to play both on ball and off ball. She's more of a two guard with good size and handles. She was comfortable with the ball in her hands in the halfcourt and directing plays. Able to shoot the dribble pull-up. She pushes the ball in transition and is able to create her own shot. Consistent three-point range and catch shoot off the catch or with the defense in space.

2026, 6'0, SF, Oak Park HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763614' first='Helena' last='Koubek'] – Koubek is a lights-out shooter when she gets open. In the game I saw, most of her scoring opportunities came from off-ball movement. Floats to the corners and will consistently hit the catch and shoot three. She has a quick release and squares up well to the basket with her shot. She's a forward who can handle the ball. Can use shot fakes to get closer to the basket and hit the midrange.

2026, 5'3, PG, Granada Hills Charter, [player_tooltip player_id='763616' first='Alyssa' last='Badua'] – Badua is a quick, little point guard who is effective at running an offense. Good handles who consistently attacks the defense and keeps them on the defensive. Good crossover to get into the lane and get free. She can use screens well and can shoot consistently from the midrange if the defense goes under the pick. Shoots out in transition and can finish on the break. Has range out to the three-point line as well. Floor leader.

2026, 5'8, CG, Lancaster HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763618' first='Autumn' last='Wilson'] – Wilson has good size and is a bit of a combo guard/wing. She can handle the ball and has guard-like skills but in most matchups is probably going to be at forward. She's comfortable with the ball in her hands in the halfcourt and in transition; able to push the ball on the break. In the halfcourt, she can make the right reads/passes as a playmaker. Can shoot from three-point range. Able to hit the glass well with her length/size.

2026, 5'3, PG, Desert Christian HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763619' first='Ava' last='Armstrong'] – Armstrong has the tools to be a good scoring point guard. A little on the small side but can be effective against bigger defenders. She has solid handles and does a good job attacking the basket off the dribble. Reads the defense well and finds the cracks. She stood out defensively too. Good on ball defender with a good stance. Able to keep the ball-handler in front of her.

2026, 5'4, PG, Santa Monica HS, [player_tooltip player_id='763621' first='Kalea' last='Oshidari'] – Oshidari stood out for her shooting ability. She can consistently knock down the three-point shot. Good spot up shooter who excels off the catch. Also able to shoot the transition three as a trailer on the break. She runs the floor well and gets most of her scoring opportunities off ball; able to be a finisher in transition off the pass. She's on the smaller side for a guard but can still be effective, comfortable as a ball-handler at times.
