Haileigh is one of those kids who is soooo incredibly long, that she looks like she’s about 6’5 from a distance. All kidding aside, she does have tremendous length, she is a fluid athlete, but she is probably most comfortable in the mid-post and around the perimeter. At the same time, she does a nice job of using her length to affect jump-shooters, to discourage guards/wings from driving to the basket, and when she does find herself defending the paint, she is averaging 3.1 blocks per game. Additionally, Haileigh is averaging 19.9 points per game and passed the 1000-point plateau early this season. She is a 4-year Varsity letter-winner and a nice small college prospect.

Haileigh is an extremely long and wiry forward who has always seemed to thrive in that 15 to 20-foot range. She is an excellent mid-range shooter who can extend to the 3-point line, and she has improved her ball-handling quite a bit over the last couple of years. She looked a little stronger and much more aggressive attacking the basket during this grassroots season. Additionally, she was more effective as a defensive rebounder and a multi-positional defender. She also has a knack for blocking perimeter jump-shots.

I continue to be impressed with Haileigh’s productivity, because she handles contact/pressure well considering she’s an extremely long & wiry prospect. She has touch to the 3-point line, she can put it on the floor and attack the basket, and she has a nice mid-range game. She’ll defend a couple of different positions, she’ll pursue rebounds, and she seems to really enjoy playing. I think she’s the type of kid several Midwestern small colleges have had past success with.

Haileigh put on an incredible performance in the opening round of Sectional 56, scoring a standout 35 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Her dominant play was key in leading her team to a decisive victory, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting postseason run!
