Lincoln North Star is another group that is going to be at the State Tournament at the end of this season because of their personal on roster. This roster is LOADED and it all starts with their starting PG,

. Johnson does the job of a PG to a T. She makes everyone else her better with her creating and facilitating ability while on offense and she makes her mark as a stopper on defense as well. When you combined that with a ton of talent at every position around her, you get a team that will win most of their games this Winter. As for Johnson, she moves into the #21 spot in this Update.

Another team that will have a great chance to make the State Tournament will be Lincoln North Star. Not only will North Star return most of their producers from years past but they will also bring in an impressive transfer from Kansas at the SF position. The force that will get this team to go the next eight months comes to us at the PG position in

. Johnson can push and Will the others around her to be the best version of themselves. Offensively, she creates at a steady rate, she can anticipate where her teammates around going to be and lead them into a bucket with a crafty assist, or she can get her own buckets at an ample rate. All in all, North Star will have several stars on roster this Winter but they will only go as far as Johnson can take them in reality.

of Lincoln North Star High School is going to be the starting PG for her program this upcoming Winter with the loss of Kaytee Irons, who recently transferred to another school. Johnson and Irons split time at the PG spot last season on their State Tournament run so this position shouldn’t be anything new or crazy to the program. Johnson is a solid guard, that has a nice handle, she can control the tempo of the offense, and she can make the others around her better. In this Update, Johnson is still on the outside looking in from the Top 25 but that doesn’t change the fact that she is a heck of a ball player. Over these next three seasons, if she makes the most of her opportunities she will end with a very successful high school career. She has all the intangibles so I can’t wait to see what she can do this season while being solely in charge of the LNS offense.

I’ve mention the Lincoln North Star Gators more then a few times this past week because of their play at the State Tournament but a prospect that I haven’t really spoken about is Freshman Guard,

. Johnson plays with an edge. She never tries to settle and whenever she gets going down hill, she is a handful for a defender to stop. During her team’s State run, she did a little bit of everything. Sometimes she brought up the ball and ran their offense, sometimes she came down the floor and attacked off the wing as the 2-guard. She was really interchangeable and that helped her have success not only in this tournament but throughout this entire season as a whole. This group is going to be right back in the same position next Winter. If they play their cards correctly and everyone continues to work in the off-season, they are sure to have a better shot at it the next time. They just need to stay locked in.
