We put together a Top 25 California Schools Rankings this edition to show our strength as well as some of the California teams being ranked in the National Top 25 schools in the country. I do not care what anyone has to say about Cali, but when a coach needs a player that is smooth, can score and is a complete player, where do they come, Yep, it is California. Here are our #6 - #10 Teams.

#6: Oakland Tech HS (30-5) Overall; (8-0) in Oakland League, CIF NorCal Division I Champions 2023; State Division I Champions 2023

Oakland Tech is a 3 time consecutive State Champion in the field of girls basketball and have won 25 playoff games in a row since 2019. they have build a dynasty over there since the Pandemic break put teams at a pause for a year and they were hungry to defend their title an they came out and did just that. They have won Championships in Division 3, 4 and now Division 1, which they seemed to always be a D1 school in our opinion. They are doing well and are primed to appear in a title game again this year, lets just wait and see.

#7: Clovis West HS: (30-2) Overall; (9-1) in Tri-Rivers League, CIF Central Section Division I Champions 2023; State Division I Finalist 2023

Clovis West has always been a powerhouse when it comes to girls basketball in the beautiful state of California, they just finished their 11th consecutive Champoinship in the CIF Central Sectiion. This was win 425 for Coach Craig Campbell making him the winningest Coach in Central Section History. This team bring in talent and develops them into elite teams and they will continue to do this year after year for more time to come. They will also appear in a title game this year in Sectional and State, expect it.

#8: Salesian HS; (27-5) Overall; 10-0 in Tri-County-Rock League, CIF North Coast Section Open Division Champions 2023; State Open Division Finalist 2023

No Identifying Roster Recorded Yet...

Salesian has an impressive record winning League Championships, Sectional Championships and appearing in State title games, that is not by coincedence, those kids play hard and are well coached by the head coach and they give him 100% each and every time the step out on the court. These kids will definitely appear in another title game this coming year, I promise that as well.

#9: Folsom HS; (26-3) Overall; 10-0 in Sierra Foothill League, CIF San Joaquin Division I Champiuons 2023; State Open Division Round 1 2023

Folsom did a great job this past season wining the SJS Division I championship and they did by defeating a very good St. Marys of Stockton team who have a cast of stars playing their as well. Folsom controlled th game for the first 3 periods, but St. Marys would make a game of it in the end and Folsom would pull off the win with a score of 58-53 to capture the title. These girls play hard as well and handle their business on the floor, you see the returner for next season, they are loaded.

#10: Piedmont HS; (27-1) Overall; (9-0) in West Alameda County Foothill League, CIF North Coast Section Division 4 Champions 2023; State Open Division Regional Semifinalist 2023

Piedmont was a good 27-0 on the season after winning their Championship this season, they would then face the tough team in Salesian Prep in the State Open Division and would eventually fall to them giving them their only loss of the season in the State Tournament, they had a good run and will continue to get better with the cast of returners below, so we hope to see them in the sectional again as well the State Tournament.
