This recap is for the Blue Division of the South West Suburban Conference
Season Summary :
A very strong division that saw Bolingbrook win the conference with it’s only loss being to Lincoln Way -East late in the season by one point . The Raiders advanced all the way to the Super Sectionals where they bowed out to Montini Catholic the Class 4A Runner -Up. Lincoln Way – East had a strong season and advanced to the sectionals as did Homewood Flossmoor who made it to the regional final .

Returning All Conference Selections for the 2018-19 Season
Bolingbrook – Danyel Middleton/Junior
Stagg – Kelsey Kelley/ Senior – Nichole Vacha/Senior
Lockport – Treasure Thompson/ Junior
Carl Sandburg – Natalie Stavropoulos/ Senior

2018-19 Season Sneak Peek :
With 5 of the 6 teams in the divisions all finishing with overall records above .500 and the lower half having returning all conference selections , you can expect a wide open conference race in the upcoming season. Bolingbrook , Homewood Flossmoor and Lincoln Way East will be looking to stay in the top 3 but will receive a strong challenge from Stagg, Lockport and Carl Sandburg all who numerous players returning and will be more experienced.
2018-19 Stock Risers :
Jacqueline Maka Lockport : Maka is an all around wing player , that was part of a deep rotation for the Lockport squad this season. She rebounds her position well and her athleticism helps her get out an run the floor and score in transition.
Sydney Downs Stagg : A 5’9 senior Downs and her well rounded play on both ends of the court will be key for the Chargers who look to rise up in the conference standings. She will be asked to guard the opponents best perimeter player and she is a good shooter from behind the arc .
Molly Nolan Carl Sandburg: Nolan has a quick 1st step and great ball handling skills which makes her a threat to get to the rim and finish. She will use those skills and her shooting ability from mid-range to become one of the leading scorers in the conference this season.
