Adams lands on this list for her potential to continue to mature into even more of an offensive mismatch. She really stood out this spring and summer as an athletic force, who was too quick for wings and forwards. With a good physicality to her game that makes her tough to handle for fellow guards. The 918 guard consistently caught the eye of the PGH network with a smoothness to her game, that include pull ups in the mid-range and outstanding body control at the rim. Throw in some defensive versatility and Adams is set for a huge winter for Holland Hall.

Adams did several things I love to see but watching her take the defender off the dribble to the basket and elevate over them to score was a blast. She also scored around the basket, over taller players, and showed good body control on her finishes, after the lick included. Her p[ull-up jumper was nice, and so was her court vision

A athletic guard that put together solid games all weekend. Mia showed that she can score in many ways this weekend. A shooter from the outside that turned up the aggressiveness when driving downhill getting to the rim. Nice footwork that protected the ball as she worked her way through the defense on her way to the basket. Handles the ball in the open floor transition looking for the coast to coast score. The type of player who play can be a momentum changer for her team.
A 2025 that has some offers and interest.

Smooth slasher. Adams has great timing and decision making. She understands how to be patient and waits for ball movement before slashing into the lane to attack. Her sweet spot seems to be a turn around jumper in the lane that she was able to connect on with multiple defenders covering her.

Mia Adams put together an impressive tournament as a whole this weekend but on Sunday, she really shined as being a versatile playmaker and a star in the making. Adams is a 5’8 guard, that is physical, athletic, and crafty when she is going toward the rim on the offensive side of the basketball. More times than not, she is cutting off of the ball or giving her teammates a nice assist down low after she creates on the drive. Today she was doing a little bit of everything for her Team Trae Young 2025 Thompson team. She was making the easy and simple play, scoring in waves, defending at a steady rate, and making the most of her opportunities. Coming down the floor she was a handful to stay in front of and she was well aware of that. This team has some prospects that will get a shot to compete at the next level after high school and Adams should be in that conversation in the long run.

One of the best pure athletes in attendance, Adams mixes quickness with a light on feet her quality that allows her to quickly elevate. Those moments where she elevates most often occurred with her grabbing rebounds or perhaps more impressively quickly and smoothly pulling up for jumpers and finishing at the rim. Along with the promise to be a multi-level scorer on the offensive end, she’s an “everywhere” defender. From denying post entry passes, being in the passing lanes, hustling in transition, her athleticism was complimented with a great motor. Based on how Adams’ spring is progressing, she’s one of the more undervalued prospects in Oklahoma’s 2025 class.
