While slower than in previous weeks and months, there’s still plenty of recruiting news to provide about the Garden State. Here’s the latest update as of December 11.
Averie Harding Averie Harding 6'2" | PF Egg Harbor Township | 2025 State NJ – Egg Harbor Township (2024) offered by Rider
Exciting stuff from Egg Harbor Township senior Averie Harding Averie Harding 6'2" | PF Egg Harbor Township | 2025 State NJ , who announced on Twitter on Monday that she was offered by Division I program Rider.
Certainly enticing to play DI basketball, but even moreso to stay in-state, Harding has put in the time and work to get to this point. We believe that is now three Division I offers for her as of now, and we expect plenty more to come her way over the course of the high school season. When teams see a versatile 6-2 forward come across their radar at the caliber of Harding, they pounce on that opportunity.
Aliyah Lambo Aliyah Lambo 5'7" | PG Randolph | 2025 State NJ – Randolph (2025) offered by East Stroudsburg
It looks like the 2025 combo guard from Randolph is finally getting recognition from college programs, earning her first collegiate offer from East Stroudsburg.
Lambo had a really impressive showing as a sophomore for Randolph, recording career-highs across the board and commanding a much more prominent role on the team than as a freshman. She settled into the high school game and pace well and seems much more comfortable as a player overall. We’re definitely excited to see what she does as a junior for the Rams.
Jahzara Green Jahzara Green 6'1" | PF Gloucester Catholic | 2026 State NJ – Gloucester Catholic (2026) offered by Columbia
It’s not just the upperclassmen who are getting offers and looks from college coaches. Gloucester Catholic sophomore Jahzara Green Jahzara Green 6'1" | PF Gloucester Catholic | 2026 State NJ received an offer from Ivy League program Columbia on Nov. 30.
Almost immediately, Green made a significant impact for the Rams, showcasing a great offensive skillset with talent to burn. There’s definitely plenty of parts to her game we have yet to see, but that success she has shown offensively thus far speaks volumes to the player she will almost certainly develop into. Let’s not forget to mention that she’s a forward, and that height gives her a great advantage on the floor.
Anna Primerano Anna Primerano 5'7" | PG Notre Dame | 2024 NJ – Notre Dame (2024) commits to William Patterson
Primerano has been a bench piece for Notre Dame throughout her high school career. We do think that will change this season, but she’s certainly made an impression on the AAU scene, committing to William Patterson University in late November.
While we haven’t necessarily seen much of her in high school, she’s shown to be a solid shooter and someone who can draw contact to get to the foul line. We like her aggression on the glass, but what really stands out to us is off-ball movement offensively. She’s getting to spots and catching and shooting with ease. It’s like clockwork, and that will be utilized plenty in college.
Zeynep Ozel Zeynep Ozel 5'8" | SG Blair | 2024 State NJ – Blair Academy (2024) commits to Dartmouth
Not only do we have a player who was offered by an Ivy League school, we have one who is committed to an Ivy League school in Blair senior Zeynep Ozel Zeynep Ozel 5'8" | SG Blair | 2024 State NJ , who’s headed to Dartmouth.
Her sophomore season was the appetizer. Her junior season was the main entree. Her senior season might be a second main course and dessert combined, coming out of the gates red hot for Blair. That shooting prowess is on full display, as is her passing success, and it just looks like Ozel is reaching her peak at the right time to dominate not only in high school, but also at the next level.
Emma Pfeiffer Emma Pfeiffer 5'7" | SG Cinnaminson | 2024 NJ – Cinnaminson (2024) commits to Neumann
Pfeiffer isn’t someone who has been a big name in New Jersey girls basketball, rather an up-and-coming talent. Through her journey, she’s gotten college consideration and is now headed to Neumann University to continue her basketball career.
Of what we’ve seen of her, she’s taken a lot of time, many, many hours in the gym, toward improving her overall shooting and three-point shooting. Glimpses of that shined through as a junior, but we’re hoping and expecting her to take a big step forward when it comes to being an offensive threat this season.
