Brandon Tinnon | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
A kid who has great size. She can stretch the floor by shooting the 3-pointer, as well as do work on the inside as well. She can play the low post area, exploit the mid-range, but one thing she also does well is crash the boards. She will be a solid addition to a club at the next level. Until then, she’s on a mission to deliver a state title to her squad off Old Hickory.

A kid who is coming into her own. Her game has grown over the years, and she has done nothing but add to it and increase her confidence. She can stretch the floor, attacking from the arc, knocking down shots from the arc, and also playing inside, both around the blocks and the mid-range. She’s a solid defender, one who can contribute on the boards as well. She plays the game with relentless energy and is always thinking one step ahead of the opposition. She’s a kid who has great size, high basketball I.Q., and uses her athleticism to her advantage. Look for her to pick up more opportunities to play at the next level.

has played a big part in CPA’s success.
Ellis does a lot of things well, but her shooting especially shined against a then 10-1 Beraden team at the Hoopfest. In a tightly contested game, Ellis knocked down multiple threes in the second half. These shots from Ellis against Bearden came off trailing actions. Her jumper also has great mechanics, and at 6’0″, she can make even contested jumpers. These big makes, along with clutch shots from a plethora of her teammates, led to a 69-61 win over the Lady Bulldogs.
She had a total of three makes from three in this game. In her team’s second game of the event against Tullahoma High School, she also had a good game from distance, making two threes.

, at nearly 6’0″, is a high-level driver.
In her sophomore season, Ellis displayed an interior game that is sure to cause opposing teams issues again this season. She can finish through traffic and can stop on a dime and hit a mid-range jumper with ease, during a drive. Ellis, at the power forward position, can also step out and hit threes.
On defense, Ellis is a solid post defender, and has the capacity to step out and guard well on the perimeter.

I rave about this young lady because her game has evolved over the years. She went from a back-to-the-basket kid to someone who can handle the rock and break you down using her handles. She can stretch the floor out, knock down 3s, pull up jumpers, or just utilize her size to get through contact on her way to the rim. I love her ability to block shots, control the boards, and clog the lane. She’s a threat on both ends of the floor, and schools are taking notice now of how much of an asset she is becoming. Look for her to walk away with even more opportunities to compete at the next level.

Her recruiting process is just heating up, and she is about to break through. This young lady has all the tools to be a solid prospect at the next level. She is a stretch 4 that can play down low, knock it down from the arc consistently, defend, block shots, grab boards, and plays with a motor. Jane just competes, and it doesn’t matter the opponent or setting, she is going to give you her very best. She is a talented kid who has a ton of potential and will be a nice addition to a program at the next level. She can do all things, and when I tell you she is a difference maker, good things tend to happen when she is on the floor. Whatever role is asked of her, she excels at it and then some. Top-notch kid who is going to be a major addition.

This young lady is playing on another level right now. Her game has transcended and is starting to attract the eyes of collegiate coaches at all levels. Blessed with size and a whole bunch of fight, she gets after it on both ends of the floor. Scored the ball effortlessly from all 3 levels, made timely assists, and contributed on the boards. Performances like what she did in Texas will definitely help her get on the coach’s radar. Solid kid who has big-time talent.

Her game has evolved over time, especially on the offensive side. Defensively, she can guard wings as well as bigs. She blocks shots, contributes significantly ont he boards, and is solid in transition by either running the lanes or bringing the ball up the floor. Back to the offensive end, this is where her game has grown. She use to be that low block player who would work block to block, the high post, and short corners. Now, she can knock down the 3 at a consistent clip, play off the dribble in order to get into a stop and pop motion, and finish at the rim with ease, getting high over the top of a defender. This kid is solid and as her confidence continues to rise, look for her game to follow as she poses as a significant threat to all those who face her. Big-time athlete when it’s all said and done.

Cool, calm, and collected- this shooting forward has the handles and moves to 1v1 against anyone. Athletic with length, fantastic blocker. She’s tough to stop on fast breaks! Lays the ball in with finesse! (Below in white jersey, going after loose ball)
