Here are some evaluations and opinions we came up with while watching girls play in this event, we talked about some new kids and some known ones, but these that we are talking about in this article are those who performed well in our presence. Here are some takeaways from the event, ENJOY.

2025, 5'9, CG, Cardinal Newman HS, Kate Schat

Kate finished this game at this event with 23 points leading all scorers in this game we watched. She did it with a (8/17) 47% from the field, (5/13) 38% from three point land and was (2/2) 100% from the charity stripe. She rounded this good performance out with 2 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist. She is aggressive on the floor, she is not shy about taking her shots whether they are open, guarded or against contact going to the basket. She has again proven she is a player to reckon with on the floor, she is relentless and will not let her team lose without a dog fight.

2024, 5'11, SF, Cardinal Newman HS, [player_tooltip player_id='390497' first='Janelle' last='Pena']

Janelle finished this game we watched with 15 points as the second leading scorer on the team. She did it with (6/9) 67% shooting from the field and (1/2) 50% from three point line. She rounded her game out snatching down 5 rebounds for the game. Janelle used her size to dominate inside and out, she made a three pointer, but most of her shots where within the midrange area, short corner and getting to the rim. We believe she is capable of being a good shot blocker with her size, but she did not show us that this evening.

2024, 5'8, CG, Cardinal Newman HS, [player_tooltip player_id='390496' first='Leah' last='Martinez']

Leah finished this game with 11 points and 10 rebounds, a solid double-double on the day to be key to the win for her team. She shot (3/5) 60% from the field, (1/2) 50% from three point land and (4/4) 100% from the free throw line. This was a great performance for her this evening, she was able to get into the paint and score, she could take it to the hoop and score thru contact, but we loved her midrange game and she showed us she could score.

2024, 5'8, CG, Brentwood HS, [player_tooltip player_id='837768' first='Lev' last='Feiman']

Lev led all scorers on her team in this game with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals for this game. She shot the ball well with (9/14) 64% from the field and (1/4) 25% from the three point line. She is a scorer, she can score in a variety of ways, she can shoot it, she can drive it and she can get all the way to the bucket. She shoots the midrange, she shoots the three pointer, but her percentage from three point land today is not what she is capable of we have seen in previous games. This kid is solid and coaches should be definitely looking at her, if you have not done so, contact me and I will get you her information.

2024, 5'7, CG, Brentwood HS, [player_tooltip player_id='566436' first='Jocelyn' last='Pascual']

Jocelyn was the second leading scorer for her team in this game, she finished with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. She shot the ball (6/14) 42% from the field and (3/5) 60% from the three point line as well as going (3/3) 100% from the charity stripe. She is a beast and can score the ball in so many different ways, this kid is impressive and we love watching her play this game, she makes it very exciting to see. She uses her size and skill set to her best ability, she is a great teammate and leads this team with her vocals on the floor and her intensity.

2025, 5'5, CG, Brentwood HS, [player_tooltip player_id='761222' first='Payton' last='Sugar']

Payton had a modest game this contest, but still should be mentioned, cause she finished with 6 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. She shot the ball (3/7) 42% from the field and kind of had a tough night from beyond the arc, but she was still a factor in this game for her team. She did not get to the free throw line but could drive the ball to the rim and finish, she got some contact, but it was not called. She defended well and kept her team close in this game, but would lose to the opponent later in the game after making a second-half run.

Here are some evaluations and opinions we came up with while watching girls play in this event, we talked about some new kids and some known ones, but these that we are talking about in this article are those who performed well in our presence. Here are some takeaways from the event, ENJOY.
