About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I do whatever I can to help my team succeed. I can guard multiple positions using my instincts and length. Offensively I score in transition, off the dribble, and spot up shooting. I'm working on a post-up game! I averaged 15.8ppg (62% 2s, 42% 3s 88% ft), 8.1rpg, 2.6spg, & 2.4apg. I was IBCA All State Special Mention and back-to-back Conference Co-MVP!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very easy to coach. I am very calm and competitive. I try not to get too high/low which keeps me focused on doing my job on the court. My coach always says "Aubrey doesn't get rattled!"

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in NHS, Math NHS, Science NHS, Peer Tutoring, SALT (Student Athlete Leadership Team) and Key-Club. I was awarded the Student-Athlete of the month for my HS (Oswego East) as a sophomore and a junior.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a 'leader by example' kind of person that does all I can to help others. I'm coachable, I don't complain, and I'll so what is asked. This past season I was a team captain as a junior as I've continued to develop my leadership skills (both through actions and through my voice)!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was a freshmen starting on varsity...not only working to benefit my own team/teammates I had to battler against girls 4 years older. It was challenging but fun!

What type of college are you looking for?

Good schools with a strong academic reputation...combined with a successful women's basketball program!
