In December, Crawford won The Chronicle's Athlete of the Week for her performances at the Battle of I-5 Tournament, during which she averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds over the course of all three games. The incredible thing is that these impressive numbers are not all that different from what Crawford is averaging for the whole season. The numbers speak for themselves to show that Lindsey can do a little bit of everything. She won the OSAA's Athlete of the Week last week for January 8-14 for her incredible performance of 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the huge win over a very good Springfield team. She followed that up with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks against Ashland and 12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks versus North Eugene. In their most recent game, a rivalry matchup with St. Helens, Lennox had a big 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals to help secure the win. She also has a lightning-quick shot from outside that is a thing of beauty. This was on full display in earlier games this season against Marshfield and Philomath in which she had three 3-pointers apiece. Otter has continued to be the leading scorer and a huge contributor in countless ways all season, including two of their league wins that saw her score 12 points against Santiam and 15 points over Willamina. When Otter plays, there is one speed and that is 100% all the time, and her hustle is inspiring to watch. It is a huge reason why she is able to be such a force on the boards and how she creates so steals and fast break opportunities for her team.
