“Thomson may be listed at 5’11 but she primarily likes to sit and maneuver around the block area’s on the court with her size. Each time that I had the chance to see Thomson, she was finishing near the hoop off of a screen and roll or she was stepping into space, looking for her teammates to hit her with a pass after they create, so that she could get an easy drop bucket in the paint. The Wisconsin Legends always bring competitive teams and that has been no different with Thomson and her group this weekend.”

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

The Thomson’s moving to Lena last summer changed the fortunes of the Thomson sisters and Lena’s program. I don’t think the Wildcats get to the Resch Center without them or be as close as possible to winning a state title. Madi added some size to their roster that made them one of the most physically intimidating D5 programs in the state, and they dominated the area around the basket all season, which they’ll look to do again this season and hopefully make another trip to the Resch Center.
