Huber, the 6’0 Center/Power Forward, is someone that is tough to handle in the paint and her team is well aware of that. Mid-Prairie does a great job of getting their best big the ball with time under the hoop and that leads to a ton of buckets or opportunities. Huber has been a real factor against opponents as of late and I think tonight, she is going to FEAST on the inside.

Huber is the starting Center for Mid-Prairie High School and she has put together a very successful Senior season thus far. Huber is the force that keeps things going for her Hawk’s program. She is someone that handles her own on both ends of the floor with force, while also possessing some impressive touch and coordination while moving at a fast rate. If you look at this season so far, when the Hawks have won, Huber is a major factor in that success. She shows that she directly impacts winning within her program and that is something most can’t say at this point moving into January.

Huber is someone that is “newer” to myself but I really like her game. The best part is that she knows her role. With her size at 6’0, she can rebound at a high rate, she has physicality to matchup against anyone, and she is relentless in her pursuit of the basketball in most situations. Not to mention, she can post with her back to the basket at a thorough rate and finish over smaller or alike sized opponents. I’m not sure if Huber has any interest from the next level but she would be someone that I would take a look at if I were recruiter around the Midwest, especially in the state of Iowa.

I would describe Callie Huber Callie Huber 6'0" | C Mid-Prairie | 2025 IA as a hardworking Center, that is a team player more than anything else. Huber has had some solid games this past Varsity year because of her size and advantage in that department. She is someone that rebounds hard on both ends of the floor, giving her teams more chances on offense and stops on defense. In her team’s 2A conference, they play some tough competition so I hope she can return this Winter and play some competitive ball once again.
