We are highlighting the Top 5 in the 2024 Class Rankings and these girls are more than worthy of holding their spots and continuing to get better and better each and every time we see them play. Here are the evaluations on the Top Five in this class. Four of our Top 5 players in our rankings are McDonalds All-Americans and will be playing in the game.
Kennedy Smith Kennedy Smith 6'0" | PF Etiwanda | 2024 State CA – Etiwanda HS
McDonalds All-American that will be playing in the game this coming season, her recognition for this highly honored game is well-deserved and I can say I have watched her since she was a freshman and she has put in the work. She is a dynamic scoring wing that is developing some guards skills that will put her over the top for anyone at the college level. She has developed the jumpshot from the perimeter and has also tighten up the midrange game that was already so good. She is mega-rebounder in the paint and is a strong and agile player that can run the floor and catch and finish with the best of them. Certified Star in our opinion in each and every way.
Jordan Lee Jordan Lee 5'9" | SG St. Marys Stockton | 2024 State CA – St, Marys Stockton HS
McDonalds All-American that will also be playing in the game this coming season, Jordan has done it all for some time now, she is very worthy of her spot, also with her team being the only independent team to send a McDs player. This kid is phenomenal, she can score it, she can handle it, she can pass and she is a very good rebounding guard that has a great motor on her. She is the team leader and is very vocal, but humble, this kid is one of the nicest girls you would ever meet in person. She has expanded her shot and is knocking down long ball from 2-3 feet behind the arc, we love the midrange game and she is not afraid to go to the rim and finish thru contact.
Morgan Cheli Morgan Cheli 6'2" | PG Arch Bishop Mitty | 2024 State CA – Arch Bishop Mitty HS
Morgan is yet the third McDonalds All-American that will be playing in the game coming up, Morgan is a work horse guard that really knows how to play the game of basketball. She is an all-purpose guard with a very good skill set and is a problem on the floor for those trying to contain her on defense. She is a threat to score at any time and is probably one of the toughest guards in her class and just takes over games when she wants to. We love her intensity and determination to win each and every game she can will her team to.
Mackenly Randolph Mackenly Randolph 5'10" | PF Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA – Sierra Canyon HS
Mackenly is the fourth California girl to be selected to play in the McDonalds All-American game coming up soon, she was very worthy, being the daughter of NBA great Zack Randolph this talented girl is amazing. She is a bully on the floor, she will take over the game and make you guard her, she is skilled at all three levels on the floor and her midrange game is money like her fathers. She keeps the pressure on the defense when she is on the floor and is a threat to score at any given time. She will make many happy at the next level, we are still waiting on her decision as we speak, she will probably announce at the McD’s game like a lot of kids do. We can only hope…..
Avary Cain Avary Cain 6'0" | CG St. Josephs | 2024 State CA – St. Josephs HS
Avary is the #5 player in our rankings for the class of 2024 and she has made quite a reputation for herself as well, she is a multi-talented guard that demands attention on the floor, due to her ability to score the ball. She is athletic, she can handle the rock and pass it well, she is also a good rebounder for a guard, so she knows how to play the game. She runs the floor and runs the offense to perfection for her coach, but she is also a team leader, she keep the girls engaged in the game and will not let them slack off, she is worthy of the McDonalds All-American Nominee Selection, but was not selected to play in the game.
