Class of 2024: Stock Risers

Let's finish up this round of rankings content with some stock risers and new additions. We'll start with stock risers and end the day with new additions.   [player_tooltip player_id='444780' first='Lucy' last='Leininger']   I don't think anyone has improved as much in the 2024 class as [player_tooltip player_id='444780' first='Lucy' last='Leininger']. I believe I saw her first start a few years ago at the first Kettle Moraine Thanksgiving Classic, and if you told me she'd be leading the Greater Metro Conference in scoring at that time, I'd probably have looked at you like you had three heads. She's become a competent shooter and a high-level finisher around the basket. The way she's worked to improve her game from a defensive ace that you didn't expect much of anything from offensively. Now she's a 20-point scorer who is the identity of what Germantown does. Leininger will play D2 ball at Minnesota State-Mankato   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/12/Lucy-Leininger-3.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-822488" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='372873' first='Brenna' last='Gehri']   In the FVA, some kids get overshadowed by the sheer volume of elite talent in every corner of the conference, and Gehri is one of those kids. I always liked how she defended, but watching her find a role with [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] last summer and find success, along with being more aggressive with Oshkosh West at times this season, has been a pleasant surprise. She's a plus athlete and will be able to defend at the college level, especially after playing for the high school and AAU programs she played for. I believe she'll be a kid who finds her way on the floor early by being a disciplined defender.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/12/Brenna-Gehri-2.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-823443" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='209909' first='Samantha' last='Schmitt']   I've always liked Schmitt's game because of how well she distributed the ball, but I never thought the ceiling of a Schmitt-led team looked like this Oregon team. She's been consistent in the Badger the past few seasons, and she's improved each year. Schmitt will maximize every possession by distributing, controlling the ball, and taking what defenses give her. She's the type of player you won't feel like is dominating until you watch the game back and see how much she does for her team on both ends of the floor. Schmitt will play for Milwaukee School of Engineering at the next level.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/08/Sam-Schmitt-2.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-734803" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='444796' first='Erica' last='Bub']   Two seasons ago, now Purdue forward Alaina Harper missed Arrowhead's game on the road against an uber-talented Germantown team. I didn't expect much that night from Arrowhead, but that's when [player_tooltip player_id='444796' first='Erica' last='Bub'] popped. She had 16 points and six rebounds that night as a spot-starter, and she's blossomed into a crucial piece to the Warhawks. Bub's a 5-11 athletic wing who can rebound, play in the middle of zones, make shots, and use her voice well on both ends of the floor.
