Now that some housekeeping content is up before I work on more seeding content as the weekend comes around, I want to highlight some kids who've taken their game to another level this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='624974' first='Zoë' last='Dispennette']

I've seen her a few times this year, and you can tell Dispennette is a perfectionist quickly. She has the highest possible standards for herself. Last night was why she had that mentality. The sophomore guard from St. Thomas More scored 25 points in the Cavaliers' near-upset win at Majerus court over Wauwatosa East. She made five three-pointers in the game, scoring nearly half of the Cavaliers' points. She's got excellent footwork and is ready to shoot whenever she catches the ball, and she caught fire last night.

[player_tooltip player_id='498932' first='Ava' last='C Hanson']

What I like about Hanson's game is how multi-faceted it is on both ends of the floor. Hanson is probably most natural as a four because she can space the floor switch defensively on the perimeter, but even though she has the length to play around the rim, she's physical enough to play a five and excel. She's also the type of player to control a game without making it seem like she's dominating. For instance, when I saw Oak Creek play Franklin on the road, Hanson didn't have a double-double, but Oak Creek's best offense was giving her the ball at the top of the key and distributing it. Those passes didn't necessarily lead to assists, but they led to good shots by the Knights.

Brynn Wisse

Wisse could be the difference between Oostburg lifting a gold ball in March or not. Everyone knows and respects what the Ketterhagen's have done, are doing, and will continue to do on the floor. However, Wisse provides something for the Dutch that the Ketterhagen twins don't, which is an inside-out threat who can play off the twins and punish teams for overhelping on the twins' drives to the basket. She shoots the ball at a high level, rebounds at a high rate, and creates extra possessions that a team like Oostburg will capitalize on.

[player_tooltip player_id='767268' first='Emily' last='Gomez']

I've loved watching Gomez play this season. The class who graduated last Spring left a massive void, and Gomez is one of the kids who stepped into a much more prominent role this season. She's not the most explosive guard in the state, but she does an excellent playing under control and composed when she gets around the basket. She's been a reliable and consistent aspect of the Lasers offense and has done a solid job defending within Kettle Moraine's structure.

Now that some housekeeping content is up before I work on more seeding content as the weekend comes around, I want to highlight some kids who've taken their game to another level this season.
